That's terrible news, man. Just stay strong and kick cancer's ass. The boards won't be the same without you. Best of luck.
There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said in spades. Wishing you a speedy recovery... and don't kick cancer's ass. Kick it in the balls. It'll hurt more and last longer. Additionally, thank you for your service. *salutes*
And it begins. 1st Appt @ 1030 in Boston for Biopsy consult - VA Boston/JP has one of the higest rated Rad Oncology Depts in the country.
Just got back--- I hate fucking needles - large needles in my neck. So needle biopsy done, camera down the nasal cavity, brain area, and throat - nothing there. Also if needle biopsy didn't generate enough cells, have surgery scheduled for the 17th - but the facility I'll be getting treatment at has a Cancer house, aka treatment "hotel" so I'll just stay there from time to time So far my team is from Boston Medical Center, to include the head of oncology.
You're going to a Rad Oncology Department so there's going to be like skate ramps and cool people everywhere, the doctors are all going to be wearing shades and doing sick tricks, it'll be great.
