I think that was meant to represent the 'Cyberfire' revealing the emblem. The packaging shows the Autobot symbol in the usual place. IMG_1296.JPG IMG_1295.JPG

The Presentation shown to Investors by Hasbro only had Q2 listed for TLK Toy Revenue. Which perfectly fits with 3 or 4 Waves.

But then again we have Hasbro officially stating Fall 2017 products. But contradicting to that we see Fall products appearing with the Wave 1 itself.

I trust Unicorn. They are a reliable source. But I feel like the designers may have exaggerated when saying "this is only less than half the TLK line". AOE had a relatively short line. But I also wonder if they are going back to the glory days of ROTF where we not only had 9 Waves but a followup line as well.

Yeah, while there are definitely characters with figures that have not been revealed yet, I doubt we have seen less than half the line. At the very least I think there are toys for Onslaught and Hot Rod that have not been revealed (I seriously doubt those characters would not get toys in a film they appear in) as well as possibly Hooligan, Mohawk, the submarine, Cogman, and the junk truck. Heck, I'd be down for a Quintesson figure or something, too, even if the latter is unlikely.

I would bet anything against a post-movie line happening.

If the RID toyline didn't exist, I could see them doing a permanent movie line, what with a new film out each year now. But as it is, Hasbro has no reason to extend the movie line when they've already got a "core" age 6-10 toyline.

We've seen with DOTM and AOE that movie toys these days have a limited viable "shelf life" - anything still around in shops by the end of the year tends to shelf-warm like a motherhubbard until clearanced off - so I can't see Hasbro ramping up the quantity of stuff they put out.

RID, meanwhile, is comparatively "evergreen" - toys for an ongoing cartoon don't become "old news" in the same way that toys for a big summer movie do.

I would wager that what Unicron.com were told was a pinch of exaggeration, a pinch of "there's lots more 1-Steps coming".

Yeah, Hasbro may well have been talking about the TLK figures as a whole, not specifically the Premier Editions. There were more PE's displayed than other sub lines, which makes me think we may only get one, possibly two more waves of those, and I'm sure there will be a lot more one-step changers than were shown.

Agreed. They were so lazy they couldn't even do a new mold. Honestly I don't know why anyone would want to buy it. There were already 259 (yes I'm overexagerating) different figures for Legion/Legends/(let's not forget cyberverse) Bumblebee for the past 4 movies. Why waste $ buying this one?

Follow up line might either be the Bumblebee movie line or a short line to transition into the Bumblebee movie line.
In addition the bio on the back of that box says Dragonstorm is an Autobot. Crossing fingers for a leader Premiere figure! Would be neat if he is actually the next Prime.

    I'd

I could see them doing a small sub line centered around TRF or something similar due to the fact the Bumblebee movie is stated to not have many Cybertronians.

Plus there I go over thinking about it when we / i don't know if it's a before TF1 or after TF5 movie.

Anyway I could see a sub line called something like capture of the transformers
Or even hunt for the transformers.

Oh well I think it's best to shut up and wait and see how things play out.[/QUOTE]
