Yeah and he's never usually even a big deluxe either.

 

I'd like to know what Hasbro and Takara are thinking when they decide what characters get what size treatment. It's not that hard to give us the big 3 Con's in the same scale, it is?

 

I mean they have done leader classes of Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream and Deluxes for them as well but never Voyager which makes the most sense for their size.

But yeah its strange. I hope if they do make a TR Starscream in voyager scale that his Titanmaster be made to look like his pretender shell.

 

I like that idea.

Sixshot came in today from HTS. Hasbro did a great job on him.

i still say a custom scourge from astrotrain/sentinel would be perfect for this scenario....

 

I'm seriously thinking about helping my local pegwarmer issues and doing Devcon from Scourge with a Blurr head.

I just brushed on some Tamiya gloss red, X-7 I think. It's slightly darker than the red plastic used on Hot Rod in certain lights, but nigh unnoticeable in others, so I live with it haha.

 

I posted this in the Sixshot thread but this figure deserves to be appreciated here too:

My Sixshot came today. All I can say is WOW. Just WOW. This figure lives up to the hype and surpasses it.

I've never owned G1 Sixshot as a child or an adult collector. So this is my first exposure to the character in any incarnation.

This is probably THE MOST fun I've ever had with any Transformer I've ever handled.

I had so much fun trying to figure out each mode without the instructions. I just opened him up and started going to town transforming him. I haven't done that since I was a kid opening up a G1 Transformer.

Alot of the modes are full of G1 quirkiness. But you know what? That's one of the main reasons I like it so much.

Getting to and from each mode is fun and simple but not too simple.

This is everything you could possibly want in a a toy. It's a car, a tank, a spaceship, a gun, a beast, and a badass looking robot. Plus it has more than 6 modes. It should be called Sevenshot or Eightshot with the official boat/sub and unofficial wingwolf modes added in there. It even comes w/ a Goddamn mini action figure (Revolver) to interact w/all of the vehicle and beast modes. It's so packed w/playability.

Dare I say that this may be my favorite Transformers figure of all time? I most definitely and proudly say that I dare.

If you're on the fence debating whether or not to get this figure, for the love of God DO IT. Do it tomorrow, do it now, do it yesterday. As long as you get it.

When I saw the pics of Quickswitch, I didn't really like the Deco enough to want the figure. But, now that I've had the chance to handle Sixshot, I'll buy any damn redeco or retool they ever release.

 

I found 2 trigger-happy's last night and got them both. I love this mold so much.

 

Screw upsidedown guns! I wanted a REAL submarine mode!!! (which is basically an upside down jet mode with the wings down.... up?) Eat your heart out Hasbro!

 

That's another thing that's so great about the Sixshot mold. It's so "fan mode friendly".

 

Guess I know what I'm doing if that Misfire from Triggerhappy rumor pans out...
