...I'm thinking I should stop going by my "MP scale, no sale" motto. I've passed on too many good 3P figures just because they don't fit in a CHUG or MP collection, we should have a good enough amount of figures availabe about now in the MP scale to warrant picking some up, even if they aren't necessarily MP styled.



Now, where is that wallet-sized shock collar...

If it\'s fairly cheap (due to the less amount of individual robots making it up), then I\'ll be interested.  However, ONLY if it\'s CHUG.  No CHUG, no purchase.

I will look for every possible reason not to buy this amazing toy.

 

Oh... Never mind. I don't know what made me think these guys were MP scaled. Maybe my former defeatist mind was rearing its head. Nevertheless, I was gonna cave anyway. Well, at least I don't have to start a new collection of larger scale figures that don't fit with MPs. I'd actually feel bad for my wallet.

3P Road Caeser? Cool!

 

well MP Sideswipe is 17 cm tall so it is close to MP...I guess its the vehicle mode that will determine its scale

 

Combined mode is pretty close to mp as well. Road Caesar should be a tad shorter than Star Saber. I don't remember the exact height of MP Star Saber, but measuring from his head should be around 12 inches I think?

 

Geezus could they not have found a way to make the leg bots smaller? holy crap are they like 40% too big. O_O

It looks great! Especially for a 3-bot combiner. The legs are absolutely not almost two times too big. Maybe 10%, but it still looks great. Hopefully they're at most normal pricing, making for a "cheap" combiner for once. I'm impressed that they pulled this off at all. Tfc has come a long way.

 

The combined size seems to work out pretty well - I'm putting him w/CW Liokaiser and FP Dinoking and they'll all be of a size. I'll be pretty happy w/them all right there (and hope TFC does Landcross at about the same size). It also sounds like he'll scale about right w/MPs from the animation. Seems win-win.

I'm a little leery of how much the torso is going to cost - looks like there's a ton of bulk there in the figure, plus accessories. I've got the first two pre-ordered, and kind of hope we get a price estimate on the last one before I have to commit - since they've got a prototype, I hope that means they can list that soon.

 

Articulated hands? Damn TFC, now I want the same hands for Hades and Poseidon.

 

The buggy mode is a bit of a mess but other than that,the rest of the modes are pretty cool

 

Thing I do love about this set I must admit is the price tag. Only around $210-230 total brand new. Which is very nice.
