So I wanted my TR Perceptor to look more like his IDW namesake. Painted his clear chest to black, and his abdomen/stomache area silver, painted over his stock Autobot symbol and put a repro on his chest. Minor paint detailing such as the lens on his shoulder cannon. I have a habit of painting screws and pins on my figures as I find them severely distracting to look at (such as Perceptors hips)

His face also got repainted, blue eyes, grey face and yellow for his head crest.

Paints used: Tamiya Chrome Silver, Rubber Black for his chest/torso. Sky Grey, Sky Blue for his face/eyes.

Feedback and questions welcome. Apologies for the the photo's not being that great, they were taken on my phone which isn't the greatest quality. Still trying to practice with background/lighting/posing.

Great paintwork! The black you used on the chest is great!

He looks much better! For some reason, he seems a lot less blocky too. Amazing what a simple paint job can do!

Looks good, I did the same thing when I got ahold of Mugan Scope. It's amazing how a few extra paint apps make a world of a difference
