He's the one that lurks in the shadows under the table--shoots the three-beam blast at the white Gundam. BWII Auto-Jetter, I think that's his name.
man, took me a while to find the end of this comic, first run thru my computer thought there was only 131 pages... i get to 114 and then it changes to 186 and i was suppose to be on 160something... talk about messed up. I love the story telling version of these comics, the drama and occasoinal humor, its a relelf after reading comics that are suppose to be funny and not understanding the humor. I'll keep a half an eye on this, keep up the good work. Flameshield
Thanks. Sorry, no comic tonight. Family medical emergency. (Nothing too serious). Just spent four hours at the hospital, having gotten home just now--1:12 am out here. Tonight's comic needed some tweaking anyway. I'll post it tomorrow on the usual day-off to make up for it.
Well, that back-mounted bazooka kinda looks like a jetpack. And the last guy I'd want to give me a tacklhug at 300 scale mph would be Crumplezone. He looks like the bruiser he was always meant to be here. Unless there's some help coming, the kid's in trouble. ... ... Yo, Roadflare! Hey Mr. Conflicted Concientious Objector! That's your cue!
Awww not just yet, let the "kid" get into more trouble.. hehehehe hes not well pounded... yet. Gundams go Splat hahahahahahahahah!!! victory to the Decepticons! NIce everything has come full circle! Great story!
So we've moved on past the initial battle, eh? And the survivor isn't making as clean a getaway as he'd like. The nice thing about moving past the setup battle is that we don't know where things are going from here. Meaning I have no idea what's going to happen to this guy. Nice job, as always.
Thanks Yeah, this might be more of an exciting time. We always knew what things would lead up to. Now...well, "I" know what's going on. And that's about all. I'm debating leaving the "WHAM" in there. I don't know...
Wow, Crumplezone's quite a tank. As for the "WHAM", I don't know...it's really hard to tell sometimes what needs/could benefit from sound fx and what doesn't. But so far, you seem to use it when something needs to be emphasized, which to me is appropriate here. Or I could be just spouting nonsense. How'd you pull off those mid-air shots in the first two panels by the way? Can't be photoshopped in there because of the shadows they cast, right?
Run little Gundam!! Sound effects are always difficult for me to include in my comic, since I'm never quite sure what will work and what just looks silly. But in this case, I think "wham" works just fine.
