oh yeah, another scene, when the Autobots are introduced and Bumblebee starts shadowboxing and warming up like he's getting ready for a boxing match. They really did a great job on the animation of the robots, and Bumblebee walked like Bruce Lee after he beat down Barricade.
When Optimus told Sam and Mekeala about Megatron and Cybertron Anything regarding Frenzy, espeially his last line "oh shit" Rachet walking into the wires at Sam's house. Autobot intro, something everyone seems to love. D-con intro, espeially the hologram activating in Starscream When Sam ask Optimus how he knew about the glasses, i loved Optimus' causal response of eBay And that about sums it up. Flameshield
That whole scene is awesome. From the build up of revving the engine and pushing Sam around to transforming and having his first real recognizable words be, "ARE YOU USERNAME LADIESMAN2-1-7?" So absurd, yet the seriousness of the moment makes it even MORE absurd. I laugh every time. "Man, you been talking about gators and crickets for weeks now. I'm never going to your momma's house." Frenzy seemingly lost in a "moment" as he begins to upload the virus to the POTUS machine. Bumblebee and Barricade going at it because it's the first Transformers battle in the movie that reminds me of the old cartoon. Bumblebee bashing into Barricade's legs, then taking off is so old cartoon it just makes me smile. "The boy's pheremones indicate he wishes to mate with the female." "The parents are very irritating. Shall I eliminate them?" Then the downcast response to being scolded, "It was just a thought." Prime being antsy as all get-out, pushing, pushing, pushing, then when telling the Autobots to fall back popping off that "quiet, what is wrong with all of you?" Prime hiding by slapping himself up against the house and arching his back. "Sam's happy time." "Judy, STOP." The ininitial Autobot intro makes me smile and cry at the same time. So powerful for someone who always pictured himself in Sam's position. The first few moments of Simmons. He's such an ass, and over-the-top in his complete lack of subtlety. "Get your hands off my bush!" "If you hurt my dog I'll kick your ass." "I ate the whole plate. The WHOLE plate." Prime, Jazz, Ratchet and Ironhide doing the desert convoy thing was another old-cartoon moment that really brings back the memories. What an absurd group of vehicles to see in less than two-foot bumper-to-bumper convoy at speed, yet it totally works. Cellphone bot going batshit insane in the box was awesome and funny. Mountain Dew bot shooting people with pop cans and the car ripping that girl's face. Jazz being a total badass on Tankor, er, I mean Brawl, wait, I mean Devastator. "Decepticon Punk." The stupidity of duder sliding along the ground on his back for that distance and at that speed while he screams, "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Funny as hell, though I'm not sure that was intended. "On this day, one shall stand, one shall fall." I'm sure there's more, but that's the most stand-out moments for me.
I never giggled, I either smiled, was shocked or flat out laughed. A scene that made me smile. BB poking his head around the corner of Sam's house. That movie was so funny. Come to think of it, the whole theatre was hysterical during that house scene. I also loved Frenzy's Info-gasm scene. He was so cool/funny when he took down those cops. BB and Barricade's chase was also good, not to mention Sam vs Frenzy.
I practically howled with laughter at that one... and would have laughed even harder had my 4-year-old been about 10 years older ("Not a word of 'Mac's Happy Time' to your mother, son.")
"Oh sorry, My Bad." "Calm Down, Calm Down!" "What's Crackin little Bitches" "It's STARSCREAM!" "NO, I want two PIECES!"
Quite a few stand out for me. Blackout's initial transformation and the subsequent attack on the base. That just set it all in motion. Barricade's "interrogation" of Sam and chase scene with Bumblebee. Starscream's attack in the city where he swoops down out of the sky, transforms, and skids to a stop in the street. That was awesome. Blackout swooping down, taking a swing at Sam with his blades, then taking off again. And the alley shot of Blackout landing heading towards Prime and Megs fighting, with his propeller blades spinning. Oh, and Ironhide's "flip" transformation! AWESOME!! Those are just a few....that REALLY stand out for me.
I did spell check on pheromones.. Ratchet's "subtle as a turd in a punchbowl" lines are freaking classic!! And I thought I was bad... Heather
"My name is Optimus Prime" the whole movie could have blew chunks after that, I saw what I wanted. I am however very glad it didn't. "Decepticons, ATTACK" this scene could only have been better if they'd shown Megatron, Starscream and Blackout in formation as Megatron spoke "Get out of the car....NOW" I must say, had I been in that car, I'd have soiled myself, Prime sounded like he was channeling Grimlock for a second there.
"MH53 Pilot Power down now" Blackout Powers down. " Have your crew step out or we will kill you". Blades stop spinning, they twirl up and retract. Pause. G1 Transformation sound . Blackout Transforms. That's one of the parts that made me smile cause it was so bad ass.
Blackout's devestation at the military base. The A-10 Warthogs, the AC-130, and the soldiers in a combined arms effort to take down Scorponok. Plus... I really like A-10s The Autobots landing. And any time Megatron spoke.
The whole movie made me feel like I was 6 years old again, and that is an awesome feeling. Being in Army aviation myself, I thought the scene with the AC-130 kicked ass. Also, I was very pleased at the fact that the Black Hawk crewchiefs got more screen time than the pilots for once! Oh, and the first time the kids saw BB was awesome.
jazz's first line blew me away. I was like "OHMYGODATRANSFORMERSAIDBITCHES!!!" and optimus primes casual explaination of how they didnt just learn engish, they learned ALL earths languages off the "world wide web" "bumblebee! Stop lubracating the man!" priceless. ditto on the intro cause of the score. too bad its not on the soundtrack.
