Scorn's new bot mode looks unbelievably fantastic from the front, but I feel like the dino mode is sorta disappointing. I like the deluxe dino mode a bit better. I'm just glad that we're getting him in the size he should be, compared to Grimlock.

Also, Drift. My favorite part of his AoE toy was that his car grille actually became his chest. Don't see why they had to change that.

So for Leader Megs, does the fusion cannon detach from his arm for transforming into his "jet" mode, or is it a part of his arm for no partsforming?

I do feel a bit disappointed that we haven't really seen any new characters, aside from the 2 dragons. Maybe they're saving it for later in the Toyfair.
Also nothing regarding the "Planet Cybertron" toys. Trying to avoid spoilers maybe?

Great job Hasbro. I like every single one of your new movie designs of deluxe, premium, voyagers, leaders and titan and the Megatron mask and Sqweeks mask. Keep on getting better and better. Great improvement over the last (what looks like now) movie budget transformers for the most part.

It just now occurred to me that we barely saw any One-Steps at all. Bummer, and the one-step Megatron actually looked *good*. I wanted to laugh at the new flippy-dippies!

On a related note, it's surreal seeing all these movie megatron toys that are actually well-designed, after years of derp proportions and horrible color schemes.

Okay so I don't know if anyone else has noticed or pointed this out yet, but TLK Drift is actually reversed for transformation.

The front of the car makes his legs, and the rear/sides are the shoulders. That's fuckin' brilliant.

So RID has proper legion class toys and the Movie has Botshots without the springs.
I gues that is so they don't have to license any vehicle modes.

But boy am I disapointed I was thinking we were going to get tiny Dinobots etc... in keeping with the toys made over the last decade or so.

Oh? I thought he was still a bugatti.

Deluxe squeeks looks neat too, but i need to see poses, rr he is ejector and scrapnel level of fun.

I await the leader megatron gimmick or balance issue that ruins him, because he looks amazingly cool, but there tends to be something dodgy, perhaps an excessive use of rubber plastic.

The grille in car mode is much wider that robot mode so I'm not surprised they did it that way.

There are proper legions for TLK. The ones you're talking about are the blind bag 'tiny turbo changers'.

Didn't notice that, though it makes sense given the different shape of the car.

Yeah Drift's the Merc, Hot Rod's a Lambo.

Ah, its grille, I knew *grill* didn't look right haha.

Anyway, I don't see why they couldn't have done the same thing they did with the old mold, but just leave some if the grille on the kibble, if you know what I mean.

OK that sqweeks is the shit. I can't tell if it's a deluxe or voyager. Looks like it's in voyager packaging. This one caught me by surprise, usually I hate the cutesy characters they try to push, but I'm totally digging this dude. The line isn't as bad as I thought but still kinda sore over all the repaints. I can't believe my favorite out of it all is sqweeks lol DSC03190.jpg DSC03191.jpg

Yeah, Sqweeks looks pretty good for a character I already hate irrationally. Reminds me of the Ice Cream Truck twins. A charmingly intricate little figure of a dumb character.

In fact I'm getting heavy ROTF vibes from it. Maybe it's the level of detail or the odd-ball nature of the design but virtually every new mould figure for this line feels miles ahead of AOE. Even the retooled Crosshairs is such a big improvement over his AOE toy.
