The duct tape body parts were falling apart so I threw them away. I want to make molds and casts of my body parts. What materials and tools do I need? Got any helpful youtube videos on molding and casting.

You should start a new thread to ask about info on body casting. I dont really know anything on it but im sure someone on here does.

Charging for cosplay photographs is in my opinion unacceptable. I understand the argument that people work hard and spend lots of money on the materials. At the end of the day your copying something that someone else created. Also this ussually violates event terms as your not a vendor or paid talent aka you could get kicked out. I also worry this could start crackdowns and cease and disists. Technically companies could fight against people making and wearing their copywrited properties. I just feel it detracts from fandom as a whole. Now i have less of a problem with people who say hey im taking charity donations for pics. The problem is no ones checking up to see if thats true sadly sometimes people lie. I do however think if anyone photographs a cosplayer they should ask if its ok. The glory should come compliments not currency. This is just my opinion.

Are there any other things besides comic cons I can use my costume for?

I'm thinking about starting a birthday party entertainment business using my costume. I can do a show where I do some fighting moves wal a song is playing. Or is that a bad idea?

Can anyone give me advice on how to find other cosplayers or groups in my state Massachusetts or in nearby Rhode Island? I want to go to other comic cons with friends.

How do you paint over paper mache to hide the grooves of paper?

If they're famous enough. Yaya Han used to do it and Spock Vegas (who's kind of a prick from what I heard) still does.

Check Facebook. There are a multitude of cosplay groups for everything on social media.

Seal it with Mod Podge first, then paint over it.

Can anyone give me advice about making shoulders and how to attach them to the torso of the costume.
