I have the mold, as A3, but I don't think it suits Lio Convoy that much...

Takara missed the perfect opportunity to give us this guy (Which BTW, one of his modes is a flying-thing...)

I would prefer a new mold...One that has the ability to merge with Star Saber (which this mold can't obviously)

 

I hope Takara will make a real Lio Convoy some day, maybe an MP.

I want to see this guy standing next to TFCC\'s Ultra Mammoth. They're both appropriately bulky, and I think would stand well together.

 

Worth noting, he's identified as "Leo Prime" also in the Japanese Katakana above the English name.

 

Interesting.. Maybe LioConvoy is his Headmaster? Be interested to see the comic and translation thereof.

I've seen Big Convoy in the horned head since the moment it was shown on Leo Prime. Much more Big Convoy then Lioconvoy

 

Would it be possible to switch the left and right foot and still be able to transform?

He was. I think they're getting rid of the Convoy title on anything that isn't MP or a straight homage to an older character, this is like a reimagined chug version of Lio Convoy, rather then actually representing the original BWII Lio Convoy.

 

I was merely pointing out both names on the box say "Leo Prime" in English and Japanese, rather than two different names (such as most of the UW boxsets).

Oh, I see. I'm not really familiar with how Takara are retconning their fiction in relation to particular sublines.

 

He definitely looks like a better fit for Big Convoy than Lio Convoy

IMHO, this mold is much better suited to Lio than A3. I preorderd this when it went up. I thought i saw somewhere that it was supposed to be shipping around the 17th.... not the end of the month.
