    Very nice, Cheebs!

I was just messing with MP-28 Hot Rod last night, and it's really cool and really fun, if you like that whole articulation and posability thing. Which I do. A lot. In that way, MP-28 is one hell of a MP.

But I hate the backpack and how far away the spoiler is on his back.

The cool thing about Hoodlum is the view from the back and the side. That's the money right there. Overall the bot looks better, the car looks worse, but the thing that actually bugs me, jumps out at me day after day on MP-28 is the damn backpack. This fixes that. So as of now I am on board. I think it looks fantastic.

Now I just have to see if it is anywhere near the range of motion and posability of MP-28. If it is, that's a huge win in FT's column.

Great work. This does, however, point out more so that the hands seem really small.

Mhhhh....Giga Roddy..... ... I guess it would look like Dolph Lundgren wearing an orange hoodie. Creepy!

Seriously, I absolutely hate Hot Rod (and Rodimus Prime). I skipped the ugly TT midget, but Hoodlum is very tempting.

Interesting, I'll be watching this to see how it turns out. For not he has both positives and negatives in comparison to MP-28.

I don\'t own any FansToys, but this one I will get.  Never felt the official Takara release.  This looks great albeit the hands are small and set further down than I would like.

Yeah definitely slightly larger, articulated hands would be cool.

What side picture do you see, they make every attempt to show some him from certain angles.

    meh.

IMO I don't see the real point to making this. Didn't Takara already give the fans what they wanted by making this? doesn't really look different from Takara's at all

Well, to be fair to FT, they can't all be winners.

Every time I read a comment like this, I can't help think of all the virginities Fans Toys has taken from newcomers, hehe. And then hearing their reaction after they get the figure.....good to know FT can still draw new crowds.

I'll give credit where credit is due.....MP-28 is one ridiculously articulated figure, and unfortunately, even Hoodlum does not appear to be able to match. No double jointed elbows? That should be standard these days. I'm big on articulation so I give props to co.'s like MakeToys, MMC, BadCube for including ab crunches to toe bends.
