Hound looks great. He and little hound will never be apart. Broadsides: not bad ship, not bad bot, oh Primus - that jet looks even stupider than I thought it'd be Wow, Krok's green (yellow?) is so neon it glows Kup's alright, might wait for to see Takara's attempt. He's not the first bot who's clear chest played games with his body lines. Perceptor's neat, I like when they turn into things for the little bots. Quake: yeah sure, I like the mold Roadburn: yeah no, I don't like the mold Topspin: hell yes. Even without Twintwist he's an excellent counter to Triggerhappy.
I still want a Skyshadow repaint into Energon Megatron. This makes me really miss the club because it's unlikely Hasbro will ever do it.
Got Brawn today, and . One Minibot closer to a completely-Generations-updated Ark crew. From here on in, though, I'm going to be choosier in my purchases. I could squint and accept Blurr as a Headmaster, and of course, I was glad to get Hardhead, et al, from the original G1 crowd (I haven't sprung for Fort Max due to the cost, but I'm very tempted - Kultur first, though). But I have a hard time justifying Targetmasters as Headmasters (similar powers not withstanding) when I have a perfectly good RTS Perceptor, a very good Sgt. Kup with a Mastershooter Collectibles Recoil/Flintlock, etc. (Getaway, Triggerhappy, and Doublecross/Twinferno as Titan Masters, I can swallow, because they're good figures ... well, Getaway needs some Reprolabels, but that's not much of an effort to put forth. Where TR's been nailing it, IMHO, is in the revival/fixing of Legends-class figures. Kickback filled a long-overdue hole, while Gnaw, the new Brawn, and TR 'Bee are well-done (others may disagree about 'Bee, but to each their own). Likewise, Roadburn/Chase means we'll very likely get all the Throttlebots remade at actual Throttlebot size. C'mon, Outback, Hubcap, Beachcomber, Rollbar, Freeway, Wideload, and Searchlight ...
Winter Wonderfestival 2017 will be where they show off all their upcoming stuff - I'd imagine all the non-repaint Deluxes will get confirmed shortly, alongside Broadside, the Wave 3 Legends, Brawn, and Sixshot. I'm not expecting a Japanese release of Megatron or Prime, Roadburn, or Getaway, though that last one I'm less certain of.
Man, I've had wave three for a week now and feel like TR is more and more boring. I was excited for all of three at first but at this rate Topspin is the only one from wave four that I will get.
I'd love for you to be right, Legends Triggerhappy is one of my most anticipated TF releases this year, but I doubt they'll announce more Legends stuff now that the new movie line is about to start.
Does anyone have an idea of when Takara might announce their Wave 3 and 4 of "Titians Return" Legends figures?
I have been trying to figure out what exactly I don't like about that Kup head. I think it is those crazy cheek flaps. This seems a lot better to me?
