It's a shame IKEA doesn't make like a single detolf glass cube.

Display cases get very expensive quick.

You may want to look for a used curio cabinet locally. It would be a lot cheaper, but the styling may not be what you want.

    You're welcome.

I still plan on picking up KOB V2 Voltron- but at the same time I'm like: That's too much painted diecast...I keep thinking: What would be the safest Voltron, out of all of these, that you can play with every day, and it would remain looking just as good as the day you got it?

My guess is the Legendary Defender Lions. They have the least amount of paint- so if anything happens to them you'll barely be able to notice it.

The SOC, Ultimate EX, KOB V2, Matty Collector, and even the Altimites DX SD- they all have enough paint for significantly visible damage to occur- so unless you're super careful with them,my guess is they'll all eventually get scuffed up.

I really hope Bandai makes a Voltron model kit like Super Minipla or something, now that they have the license.

For a playable toy? Yeah Playmates Legendary Defender is the only one really made and designed as a "Play Toy". and a really robust one at that. if you want a diecast that displays well but still offers some play possibilities? SOC Voltron, no question. It is the smoothest and most stress free of the SOC combiners. No real contact points or rubbing of paint anywhere. No straining to combine or take apart. The weakest is the Toynami Masterpiece as the Lion legs are kind of fragile and the chrome gets quickly battered to hell. Too much play and the knee and hip joints loosen. The KOB is in the middle. It's robust, but there is some fragility in the lion legs. I'm not sure on the Toynami EX. That ones looks robust, but I don't trust those ball jointed hips. I can't see them remaining tight through daily use or play. It looks like a "pose once, let stand there" type of robot.

It's up to Voltron fans as a collective whole (that means all the TF fans that are voltron fans too) to be loud about wanting 3p add on kits or 3p Voltron Toys in general to be loud. Voltron has surivived for just as long and has hed tons of incarnations. due to the huge success of the new Netflix series and the huge success of the new toys and the SOC Voltron it should just be enough to at the very least make some 3p companies take notice.

Some of the more well known fans who have connections to some of these 3p companies could get the word out. I know it'll take time, but it's a start. come on bros, let's make some stuff happen.

We at the very least need some 3p group to make a brand new head for the Legendary Green Lion because the current one just won't due at all.

and a new neck for Black Lion so Voltron can have head articulation. that is honestly all I want.

I know people are gonna add we want the red and green lions to be able to retract their heads but face it, that's impossible due to the transformation of the arms and how the legs fit inside that compartment. :)

Green lion doesn't need a brand new head per-say just needs a new jaw/bottom piece so there's no more atrocious underbite.
