The green color on V1 and V2 may not be the same, if V2 set is going to be the same green with the options part that is already out.

 

I think is better a combined mode robot having arms with a little different shade of green than one without them.
Let's wait.

Is Allocator the ONLY figure you have?

If that is th case cut your losses and order the V2 complete set which is much cheaper.
And sell Allocator.

 

No, I've purchased Shovel, Burden and Concrete in june, then the other robots of the team in october in a single order, with the stock issue I've explained in some post before, so I decided to Ask RK to ship me only Allocater some week ago.

Incidentally I just tested the structural integrity of both leg bots with some severe weight baring down on them. That being FeralRex in his entirety. They didn't budge a millimeter.

So some very impressively solid builds indeed. So hyped to complete this guy.

 

Haha. I took them apart recently when I got the Purple mixer for Concrete. After the switch, he was in alt mode for about 3 minutes, in bot mode for about 10-15 mins then back into leg mode and recombined shortly after that. These guys are impressive as separate constructicons, but feel somewhat awkward when not combined into Constructor (Devastator) for me.

 

Got my G2 lat filler and skis for burden. Now if I could only get my G2 set from PC........

P.S. When I opened the box for the parts I started laughing, because I clearly did not really understand the size of those bots. This is going to be fun.

 

I just combined V1 again now that I have the lat fillers. It's really a whole new bot with them on. Now I just need that G1 styled head. And to decide if I leave him combined or in separate bot modes.

I need a new spring for that ab crunch section, too.

 

Seriously the one thing that bothered me about the purple drum was that stupid purple plate that should have been green and thankfully it was a simple 2 min fix (with a soldering iron)

The final over all look especially with the fillers and without that purple plate is amazing. Bring on the green thighs!

 

So how did you use the soldering iron?Do you have to disassemble the barrel itself?

 

The barrel already splits in half below the yellow part. From there you will see a flat pin inside. The soldering iron is used to heat the pin enough for you to pull it out of the plastic. Literally took me like 2 mins

Just don't heat the pin too much. It should be enough that it just pops right out but you don't want to melt it through the plastic Of the drum. Any more than 30 seconds is probably too much time. As for putting the pin back in all I had to do was push it in with my pin punch I didn't even need to hammer it back in

 

I'm starting to lean towards buying the set coming out. Besides the info posted over at BBTS, is the bundle supposed to have fixed any issues with the bots? I heard the plastic for Unearth's and Bulldozer's elbows would crack.

 

That was on the v1 set. The G2 and the green V2 set have those issues fixed.
