If we can pre-order whatever we want, I'm in for 2 x Hawke. I have no desire to commit to a subscription.

Listened to the recent Roast Gooble Dinner with Brian Flynn of Super7 as special guest and there was a wealth of information regarding the lines going forward. It's definitely worth a listen if you have time. He-Man.org's Roast Gooble Dinner

Couple of things from the podcast:
    • It sounds like they have the She-ra license and just waiting on some formalities.
    • TCats is progressing well albeit slowly. Have submitted plans but waiting on Warner Brothers.
    • Ultimates are done for 2017, may do 4-5 more in 2018. Fisto was mentioned.
    • Snake Mountain is at the factory and waiting on pricing.
    • No plans for vehicles right now. They want to get ball rolling and system in place for figures.
    • They are planning on SDCC release and different options were discussed.

Sigh..... I was kind of hoping the line would NOT keep going, just so I can be done. But these do look good. I'm always up for more Snake Men, and Hawke will look great with Stratos (even if she looks a little under-detailed). Sooooo I guess I'm in for these.

If that's where we are I am surprised... almost ahead of schedule. I really need TCats but Snake Mountain is a surprise. Pretty happy so far.

I'm glad to hear that there may be more Ultimates. I am actually more excited about this years Ultimates than I am about any of the new figures. And I already have every one of them. Aside from Ram Man, those figures were in drastic need of updates. The figures released toward the beginning of this line were more prone to QC issues so hopefully these Ultimates will turn out nice.

Was there any indication as to when this was recorded? That podcast is routinely 6+ months behind, so I didn't bother listening to outdated information.

The part about Snake Mountain still awaiting pricing is what they were saying last summer. It's unlikely that it's taking this long.

I'm actually interested in Snake Mountain but not if it carries the same premium pricing as the Ultimate Editions.

I want to add a small MOTU display to my game/toy room. Just started researching so let me know if I'm correct here. The classics line is done. Super 7 is has a pre order up for $35.00 but I missed out on it. BBTS has a pre order up for $50.00. Any place else I can pre order? I'm hoping someplace with free shipping at $150.00
Was the QC good on the original classics He man and Skelitor, anything to watch out for? I tried winning a loose He man and Skeletor on ebay but stopped bidding when the price got withing $6.00 (with shipping) of the $50.00 pre order price. I'm surprised they are going for so much loose with new ones coming out soon.

Bummer about Ultimates being done for the year. What about filmation rereleases or new figures in that subline?

If you're going to buy a previously released He-Man, make sure it's a version 2 with the corrected shoulders. The original had the shoulders flipped with the left on the right and the right on the left. I don't know how noticeable it is, but get the best you can get. Other than that, loose ankles are a common issue that you really can't avoid.

The original Skeletor differs in terms of construction from the Ultimate. They use different' forearms and lower legs on the new one to get a more toy-accurate look, while the original was more based on the mini-comic. Decide which one you prefer, although you can get the Dragon Blaster Skeletor to get the toy-accurate base body. No QC issues to speak of.

My advice is to wait and try to get them off the Super 7 store when they ship in the spring. I have to imagine they would want to keep He-Man and Skeletor stocked for people like yourself just starting in on the line, bur they're a small company and maybe they can't afford the overstock. You can probably sign up for a Super 7 newsletter to be notified when they go on sale.

And keep in mind that the Ultimates might have issues we won't discover until they come out.

I have questions about the Ultimate version of Teela. I know the original Teela had something of a bobblehead problem, but didn't they make a new version with one of the vehicles/playsets? But that one has a pretty bad face, if I remember correctly. So do we know which body and head are being released for this? I know she comes with alternate heads, but I would assume that they didn't use the one with the misshapen face, and hopefully they fixed the bobble head issue as well.

I have the original Teela no bobblehead issue.... not sure about that.
There is a Battleground Teela from the mini-comics no QC issues.
The Point Dread Talon fighter comes with a filmation Teela with the "bad" head but I don't believe it's misshapen so much as painted like shit courtesy of Mattel.
The Ultimate version is the original body and has a bunch of heads go check'em out. I am sure google is your friend.

You guys should really check out The Loyal Subjects MOTU blind box figures. They're goot quality stuff that not onlhy look good, but have decent posability as welll.

Super 7 will reveal MOTU Filmation releases at NY Toy Fair in mid-February. So there will be Filmation coming. :)  I am impressed with how they've managed to handle so much product in such little time given their size compared to Mattel. The only thing I am on board for is the Filmation releases. Unless they do 200X characters, that's all I'm sticking with so far. I have slapped the big "DONE" stamp on my Classics collection. I may even sell off a few. Haven't decided as of yet.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to a few more Filmation releases too. I'd like to see a good Teela and Cringer.

If they do all of them, somebody should do a stop motion version of "Hey! What's Going On?"

At Meijer tonight I saw the new He-man Dorbz, including the Prince Adam which was labeled "Limited Chase Edition". I just picked up the Adam for now. I may consider buying the rest of the He-man figures at some point in the future.
