All this talk of the Roton brings back memories...I totally forgot about that thing until I looked up pictures of it.

That's really not anything new. It's just Mattel's internal (or primary online retail contractor, who knows how Mattel actually operates) selling arm expanding into other marketplaces. They started listing MOTUC product on shop.mattel.com since at least Labor Day, around the time of Mattycollector's announcement of imminent doom. It looks like all the same product being listed there and on Mattel's eBay store.

To see what's actually being sold by Mattel, select them from the Retailer filter on the left. Skip all that overpriced Toywiz junk. ;)

    EDIT:

Here is an eBay link for Mattel's Sale and Clearance stuff -- Save with everyday low prices from mattel

If that Jumbo He-Man would drop to at least $25-30, I'd be tempted...

Check the sellers. The reasonably-priced ones are sold and shipped by Mattel. The inflated ones are ToyWiz. None are sold by Walmart directly.

I'm satisfied and I rest all of my doubts. I don't think the line up is quite what hard core MOTU fans had in mind, but I love it. Something for everybody. I'm an admitted enthusiast for the New Adventures, so Quake is a win for me. The rest I think covers quite a few bases. Super7 did exactly what they needed to I think. Well done.

Completely agree. I am meh on Quake but I will buy him to support the line. Cannot believe we are getting Hawke she looks perfect. I am loving that uppper chest articulation. I believe that's new but either way it looks great.

I am happy she works both ways as I don't care about the filmatiom stuff. Perfect looking figure.

I like it. Very diverse choices in characters. Though, I know where Lodar, Hawke and Quake come from... but where's Fangor from?. It's funny because I know nothing about him, but as far as looks go I'm most excited for him. Plus, the more Snake Men the better.

...just when I thought done with MOTU they release Hawke and Lodar!!! I need to have these two!

Hawke so she can be displayed Stratos! Lodar because he was one of the cooler (aesthetics-wise) villains to appear in the mini comics.

After being cucked by Matty Collector for the last two years and getting none of my figures, including the subscriptions one I had paid for and they refused to refund... I'm optimistic for Super 7and that's a nice start. Pumped for all four but Fangor is really standing out to me.

I found The Loyal Subjects MOTU blind box mini's at my local Walmart yesterday. They are Walmart exclusive versions with toy colors Skeletor, Evil-Lyn and Tri-Klops, Filmation colors Trap-Jaw, Comic colors He-Man, Beast Man, and Teela. The rarest chase is a gold He-man, followed by Anti He-Man, Teela, and Beast Man. I got Tri-Klops, Teela, and Evil-Lyn so far, and I am very impressed with the quality! Excellent details and paint is flawless on my units. Articulation is pretty good with ball joints at the head, shoulders, legs, and ankles. Rotating wrists and waist. Tri-Klops has rotating visor/helmet, Trap-Jaw's and Skeletor's jaws open and close. They're $12.99 USD, but I feel they're worth it if you're into these kinds of things. And mine have no trouble standing despite their large heads and small bodies.

Hawke is the only one that interests me in that lineup. It's cool that she comes with both the Filmation head and 200X head. The rest are great, but I am just not into them enough to want them. I am happy to see MOTUC live on. Super 7 appear to be worthy heirs and caretakers of the line.
