Just got Lorry today from BBTS. I didn't have too much trouble with the transformation. I'm really digging him so far. I'm sold enough on the mold to know I need the Speedbump now.

I watched Bobby Skullface's review of Lorry, (great reviewer BTW) and I learned that I've been missing a transformation detail on Lorry and another one on Speedbump. First off, Lorry's arm cannon can extend outward a bit. As for Speedbump, there's another joint on the force field projector thing. It's right under the middle, and it's tight and easy to miss, but it's there. Using that joint makes the projector look a lot better IMO:

EDIT: I looked back over the pics on the last page or two, and I see a few others knew about these bits, so I guess this isn't super new news.

Bobby Skullface's was the first review of BC's Hoist i'd seen that showed the barrel extend on the hand cannon, so you're not along there. Thanks for sharing the photos too.

First layer of paint and a quick test fit. Head is not attached hence the weird angle!

I do wish that Badcube had included a toy head for Speedbump. I want to use this version as my SG Trailbreaker and the alternate head would help differentiate him.

I found that a bit of green really helped the face "pop"

    I may require additional explanation.

While wishing, I would also hope for a second walrus hand for Lorry at some point.

It's probably hard to tell on my photo but I painted most of his head green. Really like the result. More so than the silver cannon and arm!

Ooo... okay. I was talking about Speedbump/Trailbreaker needing a toy head sculpt. Not Lorry/Hoist. I'm actually good with Hoist having the silver head. MMC's version will be my SG hoist.

Gotcha yeah a green Trailbreaker head would be... Special...

I may get the MMC hoist too, I fear that the knee joints on this will end up floppy as hell. Picked this up because I got it $65 shipped. Was worth taking a risk at that price!

Yes, he does flop quite a bit in the knees... partially. The second joint on each leg is quite stiff. Oddly, it's not even the same joint from right to left on mine that wants to bend freely.

But there's something about his design that captures the character quite well. Can't help but picture him with the stereotyped, overly cheerful German physicist's accent though. Like he didn't want to join the war, he just happened to be the only guy in the room that understood how atoms worked when it came time to build bombs.

And I can't help but think the background fruit and Stanley device were planned in those photos.

Finally got a chance to open and mess around with Lorry after getting him earlier this week. Upon opening the accessories, noticed one of the medieval knights figure came with two left arms.

I didn't get this from a major retailer but trying to contact the seller to see about getting replacement parts (he hasn't let me down yet). Any one ever get replacement parts directly from BadCube before or know how to contact them?

On the off-chance that someone got one with two right arms, let me know for a swap.

How do ppl like the Knights? Just from watching reviews, they kinda look likes pieces of sh*t. I haven't cracked mine open yet but they just look like the medevial equivalent of little green army men. I just wish they had spent the time to provide some cool gun or force field or something that I might use in a display or check out. Not a little. Horsey. Lol.

I hope I don't offend anybody with my comments. If u like it that is wonderful. I just kinda think it is lame. Id just rather the cost go to something else..

Are the knights like the Chip Chase that came with Sunsurge? He was in a baggy with all the arms and legs and you had to assemble him. The limbs just kind of mush onto the joints, hard to get on and they don't feel like secure connections. Overall he was pretty rubbish, then again so were the official TT human figures *shrug*. He sort of looked right I suppose.

Wish those mini figures were Dr Wu quality, those look great though the price is pretty steep.

I agree. I've always really disliked the toon head.

I bought MMC's because of this. But honestly I don't like him all that well in hand. BC's is the one to get (except that I just can't do that head). I've got Lorry as well and absolutely love him.

My Set arrived today...oh boy, what great figures they are... I was a bit worried about the hands but they do look better in hand and if you close them to a fist it doesn`t even matter. transformation is pretty straight... I had some problems to fold up the panels to store in his backpack thanks to the great instructions. It isn`t always clear what to do and I am pretty sure that it will take some time...but once in Robot Mode everything was imediatly blown away by the look and feel of this figures... well done Badcube, well done. I really can`t decide which mode is more impressive. The Car even has rubber tires and Mirrors, so they don`t break.

Absolutely love them. Also the fact that nearly the same Alt Mode can result in a totally different Bot Mode. Can`t wait vor Gears and Swerve. So, now to decide which Symbol to use. Clear or white background...

I went with a clear-backed Reprolabel and it don't look so hot, primarily because of the raised ridges on the hood. Hard to get the sticker to conform. Gonna order up some white-backed water slides and see if that's any better. It will definitely "pop" more against the black paint regardless.
