My early thoughts are that there's a distinct uncanny valley sense to the robot mode, as it's nearly-but-not-quite Transformer-like in its aesthetics. The differences are subtle and hard to pin down. Poses well though, probably thanks to the extra heft given by the die-cast core, which makes me wonder what I've been missing by swearing off the masterpiece line..

 

SO. FLIPPIN'. SEXY. I pick up Tarn later but he's got a hell of a lot to live up to.

Should it be the red on yellow logo? 'cos a google image search for "Diaclone Logo" really doesn't want to give one up, plus the one I used has a nice transparent background to make life easy  

Am I a crazy man or would Titanika have a really awesome retool as a Strongarm? I would be in on that in an instant, more so than the Roadbuster version I think.

By the time the Corvette Stingray was released in Diaclone the logo being used on Car Robot boxes varied depending on territory, the Finnish release that was black was based on the Italian "TRASFORMER" style logos, but of course it actually had English text. Quite a rarity for Diaclone:
