I hope not, as the TF Prime mold is pretty much perfect.

But hey, as long as we can get some new characters out of that mold as well, I won't mind them using it for Wheeljack also. :D

Wow, I hate that Blurr. Can\'t we keep things separate?

It\'s just that RB is not the same type of program as RID... in theory. I get CHILDREN are the end goal... but considering the different demographics involved... how is this a good idea, again?

Unless it\'s to satisfy the small segment of Bronies, sorry, I meant RB adult fans who want RB in all their TF programming... :rolleyes2  :p

I don't mind Skysledge & Stormhammer as a Wingwaver homage and Blurr is alright, but the rest of it isn't for me.

The mass retail Starscream\'s already been released. I\'ve seen him out in the wild.

Also, I might finally pick up Windblade. Faceplates make everything better, and this paintjob is marginally better.

Don't know if this has been reported before, but based on the in-store scanning I did with the RiD mobile game, the scan-code stickers on the repacks from previous waves are different than their previous releases. Rather than unlocking the character, they generate tickets for a vending machine Autobot (or a stasis bot) to permanently unlock characters.

Maybe because kids who grew up watching Rescue Bots are now aging into RiD? Doesn't seem too outlandish to start blending a cartoon intended for 4-5 year olds, on its fourth year, into a cartoon aimed at 8-10 year olds. Or maybe just because it's a fun design that makes for a nice-looking figure?

I'd love to see more Rescue Bots characters in the RID line personally.

hahaha omg, that made me laugh you havr no idea. And I'm curious too what the hell Hasbro?

They will eventually if you have preorder with them. I also collect the Adventure line over Hasbro's I have all the Decepticons (pretty much, other then the larger minicon throwing ones) & alot of the Autobots. Although I AM missing Windblade. And Jazz, and Sideswipe. I even got the TakaraTomy voyager Grimlock :)

Starscream is Is in wave one Combiner Force. Out now ;)  And I totally agree I'd LOVE to see Heatwave, Chase, Blades, & Boulder make both an appearance on RiD, as dropping off Blurr to the team or something, & in the toyline! OR at LEAST 2 of them like Chase and HEATWAVE for sure! Rescue Bots RiD toys would be GRAND

Yep. Season 4 of Rescue Bots connected to Season 2 of Robots In Disguise. Sideswipe was chasing one of those annoying ball-type Minicons (as seen on Overloaded), when it led him to Griffinrock where Rescue Bots reside. So he enlist their help to catch the Con. This made Blurr rethink whether he belongs to the Rescue Bots or whether he should join Team Bee.

Sideswipe actually kept his RID look on the crossover.

I still have the pre-order, so hopefully you are right. That said. I have a friend who lives in Japan and is coming to visit later this week. So I may see if he can find me a Starscream to bring down with him. Save on postage. Won't touch the pre-order for now though in case he can't

I've gone pretty much all in for RiD warrriors.

From Hasbro I have: Bumblebee, Grimlock, Optimus, Drift, Sideswipe, Fracture, Megatronus

And from Takara: Strongarm, Steeljaw, Drift Origin, Jazz Battle Mode, Voyager Battle Grimlock, Thunderhoof, Quillfire, Windblade, Ratchet and Scorponok

Then there's all the non warrior stuff..

As for the discussion going on with Blurr. I have no attachment to Rescue Bots, the show never really appealed to me. But I know it has its fans, both young and old. And the fact that the kids who grew up watching rescue bots would now be getting to an age where they might watch RiD I think throwing some familiar faces (Like Blurr) in there is a good idea.

If they wanted to do the rest of the Rescue Bots as fully Transformable Warrior class RiD figures. I'd be all for that. I'd probably even buy them.

And I know that CHUG versions of the rescue bots are something that some fans have wanted for a long time. So if they made Warrior versions. Then those fans can add them to their collection too.

Plus, at least if hasbro gives us the Rescue bots (and some other new autobots like Stormshot and Twinferno) as the Autobots for this year, alongside more new decepticons. It would be better than anther year of. Blue drift, blue prime, energon boost bumblebee, etc etc
Although the repacks and Mask face Ninja Assasin Wondblade don't fill me with confidence

According to the voice actors, Rescue Bots series is now over (or indefinitely on a hiatus). As you said, the kids who grew up with RB will now be into RID. On Amazon I’ve seen a major increase of RID products being pushed to the RB crowd. RID’s kid-friendly nature as oppose to Transformers: Prime makes it easy to push to little kids.

Hasbro’s original plan for RID was two seasons. But I think they’ll now be pushing for 4. I did hear a rumor about another show, but I have no info to give at the moment.
