happiness-days has BC Speedbump for $60. This is a total red flag for me. I believe that the trend now is that scammers will use a set up item - a TF item that they will sell legit at a good price, sell a bunch of those, get the feedback and pacify the skeptics. Then after a while they put out their scam items with ridiculous prices. You know the rest.

I think this guy is using FT Lupus as their set up item. Also note that they are keeping the feedback details private. We don't know what they are getting pos feedback for unless the buyer puts it in the comments.

i can tell you why they scam for money although paypal will give us back our money.
If you are in the trading market ( like buying apple, microsoft or just in the currencies market ), you get interest everyday.
And that's a way to make even more money.
They see it as loaning your money for some time to make money out of it before paypal give you back your money.

One thing I've started doing to help others out is whenever I give ratings/feedback to a seller who marks his feedback as private is the following. In the comments field I copy and paste the full item listing name verbatim as the listing shows it. That way the seller cannot block out the name of the item. It also gives me some character space left to give a brief comment. That way anyone else researching the seller can see what I bought. The more people that do this the better.

That's pretty brilliant, but how do they get the money? I thought ebay usually holds the money until the item has been delivered.

I also usually put the item I bought (usually a shortened name) in the feedback for the same reason. I also try to right feedback that looks authentic. "Great, recommended, fast, etc" is just too generic. As flight of the conchords says: Be specific with your feedback.

My package has shown that it reached my local post office 4 days ago. I figured it is stalled due to the holiday. I went in to pick it up myself and the lines were out the door.

Normally I'd tell myself to be patient, but then I read feedback on this guy's page that said he shipped them beads.

Also, still waiting on my other purchase from another seller that's been sitting in Beijing for 18 days now.

    Update on seller fengqiuxiang

So yeah, the tracking number stopped working when the item arrived in Beijing. 18 days later, it got here. Great items and he's still got 100% positive feedback.

    Ebay:
I gave him a opportunity to answer me and he ignored me before I ordered from him he had great ratings. The 5 day when the tracking stopped updating I checked back on his ratings and it began every rating said Similar things sent beads, fake tracking numbers on top of that he took all his listings down now that was a red flag for me that he was sketchy I had wait til jan 1 to put in the claim and when eBay asked the seller for a tracking number he gave them a invalid tracking what I learned from all this don't trust sellers in China unless you know for a fact there legit more power to you if the package stills comes I'm keeping it serves him right for screwing people over lol

i got sick of getting scammed too. i only order from sellers that look really legit now. it's just not worth the headache. if it looks too good to be true, it is. we all know what to look for by now.

Depends on what part of the world you live, and what shipping method is used. Here in OZ with free china shipping, it's usually 4-6 for 90% of items I order from China.
Hell, sometimes it takes 3 weeks just to get stuff from the other side of the country I live in, so I'm used to waiting up to six weeks before I bother going "scammer!" etc.

But mostly, I just buy from same sellers with no problems.

Sometimes stuff arrives in OZ, then just sits in a bloody sea crate for a couple weeks before it gets sorted, as its low priority mail etc. That happens pretty often. Plus despite living in a port city, the shipping lane for most stuff is on the OPPOSITE site of the country, so often it gets to the other side, then travels by bloody land to get here.

I ask cheeky stuff like "I want to do a group order, can you see me 20 of these"

And they reply "sure" , like one word answer, BRILLIANT. Total confidence in that one

...On 3P item that I know for a fact they don't have that many of, as there were limited amounts ever made, and there if no way fuck they have "50+" of a $200 3P item, while all their other items are homeless man shoes for $2 each and fucking beads. Well not fucking beads... just stupid beads that scammers must sleep in a giant pit of beads going on how many of them they sell.o_O

@botfan Any updates on your order you placed 2 weeks ago? Hopefully it was delivered by now?
