    Christmas surprise:

The Müller drug store inside the Minto shopping mall in downtown Mönchengladbach has the Combiner Wars Voyager wave with Sky Lynx and Onslaught! Sky Lynx is a new arrival at German retail, while Onslaught has seen a few veeeery scarce sightings in Germany. I myself have never seen him before, though I've seen three Scattershots since March.

It would appear that several Müller stores in Germany and neighboring country Austria (which, to my knowledge, is part of the Hasbro Germany distribution chain, similar to how Hasbro Iberia covers both Spain and Portugal, or Hasbro Nordic covers all, well, Nordic countries) have recently stocked this wave, since there have been two more sightings at a German fan site since yesterday.

Sky Lynx has recently seen wide release in Dracik stores (our main b&m toy store chain) and he is even on clearance for 24 EUR.

Just imagine the moment... The toy I wanted badly was out of reach because I was not willing to pay eBay prices (i.e. scalper + international shipping + 20% import tax + fees). Then I find him in a local online store at the usual overblown voyager price and pick up two. Now I will be seeing him shelfwarming in Draciks for the next six months at least.

The lesson I've taken from this is to be patient and wait until I see figures locally. At this point it's actually almost easier to wait for retail than to import.

    Which is a good thing.

Only few retailers got Sky Lynx in Czech republic. I bought TR Galvatron for $17 / €16,6 in Tesco and did not spotted him somewhere else.

Damn, you guys are just now getting him? That's crazy. It's not like Germany is some small shmuck country, why does it take so long? At this rate you might get TR 6shot by Christmas 2020

It's the classic "tail end of the line" syndrome. Happens in all markets every once in a while.

At least it's a definite improvement over "We never get toys beyond wave 1/2/3" from a few years ago.

Never saw Sky Lynx at retail in the US.  With year end, I expected he would turn up at Marshalls, Ross, or TJ Maxx / Home Goods.  Never found him. I ended up paying $35 for him online.  Would love to have found him for $12 on clearance and pick up a second...

He was at ross. But I seen only maybe 4 or 5 of them compared to like 30+ of the other voyagers over the past 3 months or so. I think ross might be done with cw now, we'll see whats next. Hopefully titans return, maybe deluxes and voyagers this time.
