Yeah, I really could have done with a Sideswipe. I'm gradually coming to the realization that he may be my second favorite design behind Prime. Oh well.

On the plus side I strongly suspect we'll get 60's BB. It's so similar to dotm BB. It's such an easy repaint I can't imagine they won't do it. He's my favorite on screen BB out of all 4 movies hands down, so if it happens that will be great news.

While I was never 100% convinced of the movie designs (at least for Starscream), I must grudgingly admit this figure is a piece of art..really spectacular.
Seems like this figure will force me to officially inaugurate the 'Movie' part of my collection :rolleyes2

Starscream has landed! He looks pretty badass! Gonna open him up and mess with him later tonight.

Mine had a stuck shoulder flap that wouldn't rotate...anyone know how to contact threeA directly for a replacement?

I believe [email protected] is the Customer Service e-mail you're looking for.

My Starscream also has a problem as I found the small ball joint at the right shoulder for the tail fin piece was broken right out of the box. The broken ball joint was still stuck in the tail fin piece's socket, so I'm assuming that someone at the factory test-fitted the piece, snapped it off by accident when it was removed, and then placed the damaged figure back in the box and quietly tried to pass it off as QC'd.

Slightly disappointed in the damage, but otherwise, Starscream is a very awesome figure. Hopefully ThreeA's CS will get back to me about a replacement figure since it doesn't look like the ball joint piece is easily replaceable by itself.

My Optimus Prime and Megatron didn't have any issues, just Starscream. ThreeA's CS were pretty good to me when I inquired about replacement ankle joint pieces for a broken joint (again, right out of the box; seems to be an issue with QC at the factory) for another figure of theirs not too long ago. They sent the replacement ankle joints (two of them when I only needed one) so I'm hoping their customer service is excellent in this case as well.

EDIT: ThreeZero's customer service got back to me and they made a note of my case with their maintenance team. Unfortunately, what with the upcoming holidays, they (understandably) won't be able to do much about it until after New Year's. That's fine, as I can wait. Hope they're able to resolve my issue.

    Just got my Starscream.
    Awesome figure!

Mine is missing a few parts right out of the box though. Hopefully CS can fix this because l got mine through Sideshow.
These are factory errors though, so l think this is a 3A issue.

Got mine! Loving this guy. The detail is incredible, as is the paintwork. I like his size and weight, as well as the articulation. I think he looks good with Megatron, even if their scale is a bit off. Some minor things bug me, like him having no blue on his "cheeks" or the right (Starscream's left) wings either missing paint, or having colors inverted, for the Cybertronian tattoos. Very nitpicky thing I admit, but with the price tag I like it to be as close as I can get. But that definitely doesn't make me regret this purchase, as Starscream is perfect otherwise. He is amazing and such inaccuracies don't hurt the figure at all.

Hoping to get Optimus at some point down the line, but it'll probably be a while before then due to the cost. Very excited to see what 3A has in store for AOE and TLK!

I sent my Starscream back to 3A due to a broken figure (one of the shoulder fin's ball joints was snapped off and stuck in the socket; almost as if someone from the factory had test-fit that piece, tore it off, and put it back in the box) and a broken box (one corner was just ripped completely). Wasn't happy about either issue.

But I did get a chance to handle the figure and it is very impressive otherwise! Shame too since the electronics work fine and everything seemed well aside from the sheared ball joint at the right shoulder fin piece and the box corner being strangely torn (the outer packaging showed no damage at all so it wasn't the delivery service's fault there; both issues seemed to be factory originated).

3A promised to send a replacement Starscream figure to me by early March (this month) and to pay for return postage (which was a pretty penny). Haven't heard back from them yet about either issue, but I do understand that 3A has been busy with their recent visits to various international toy fairs. Hopefully they get back to me soon.

Man, that's a real shame so many have issues with this figure considering its price, though I'm not surprised. There's so many little parts and stuff to break.

I'm disappointed they're moving on from DOTM already. Would've loved to see a Sentinel Prime.

So.. I finally decided to pick this up.

WOW. It's absolutely breathtaking. I mean, it literally looked like it jumped off the screen.

I mean, I LOVE the hot toys iron man figures and own just about all of the main armors and house party armors, but this thing is in a whole other league. (Partly due to the source material, so it's no knock against hot toys)

Now I'd LOVE to have a 3A version of TLK megatron.

An update on this post: I did receive my Starscream back good as new with no visible damage. I couldn't tell if they repaired the sheared ball joint, swapped out that part of the figure with a new part, or just completely replaced the entire figure. It took a while but the figure did get exchanged/returned.

The corner of the box still remains ripped so I'm still a bit annoyed about that. Plus the little pair of tweezers that you're supposed to use to take off back battery cover (for his rear light up LED jet boosters) is missing. Weird.

I'll have to get back with 3A/Bamblaland about these issues. It's little things like this that make me hesitant to do business again with them.

In my case, all missing pieces were sent.
    My Starscream is now perfect.
