The main problem is the bloody import costs, otherwise I'd be all over that. Thank you very much though, and thankfully Kapow still has them so there's another option for me.

I keep bouncing back and forth on this set. I love the robot modes, but the alt modes are severely lacking, imo.

 

I don't think I got it, check the spam box too and it's not there.

 

Are you really going to use the altmodes? I know I'm not. To be fair, the altmodes are accurate though...

 

No, they'd never see the alt modes to be honest. But that's only because they suck. If they were better, I sure would. And, accurate to an extent. They look pretty lackluster, imo. It's not just that though. I've been getting picky with my legends collecting and I'm just not sure if they're on the "make an exception for them" level. Maybe, but not sure yet.

Hey, it's all just opinion anyway. But your right, the alt mode being a throw away isn't a reason to pass on the lovely bot modes of these guys. Like I said, I'm just being extra picky.  

 

This is gonna sound real stupid... but I'm a sucker for symmetry. And while it is true that the alt modes leave something to be desired, the main reason I don't want drift is how his damn sword pegged on makes it asymmetrical.

I don't normally go with random Chinese sellers either but there are more people than even I originally thought who do. That and I am dedicated to getting IF in as many hands as possible to ensure future releases.

 

Only thing I don't really care for much is the way the heads are two pieces and they aren't quite flush so there's a little gap running vertically across the heads from side to side.

 

I normally get my IF releases from Chinese sellers and haven't had a problem yet, but I am pretty doubtful about the guy I bought Drift and Deadlock from as he's had a few negatives thrown his way right after I bought from him.   There's also the fact he's the ONLY one who ever did not give a tracking number. I know shipping with tracking overseas is expensive but I'm in wait and see mode.

 

Mine from Kapow should be here tomorrow. Just in time to go under the tree......so Daddy WILL get something to open alongside the Kids  

 

I'd agree with Skyfire87. Alt modes aren't at the end of the day as important or maybe even a reason to not get these. But having said that, an awesome alt mode would be a for sure way to make me bite as it would give absolutely no reason to not get it at that point.
