Titan Returns Wave 2 general retail release?

    Admittedly, I have not kept up with the boards here much recently, so I apologize if this has been brought up and discussed elsewhere. I tried to search, but came up empty.

    So...I know that Brainstorm was a "Walgreens Exclusive". That said, I assumed that the rest of the wave would get a general retail release. I am typically pretty frugal and I don't need to be the first to get a new figure, so I usually order them online from HTS or whenever they go on sale. I realize they are available for order from the major toy websites or at Walgreens (whatever is left). I did manage to pick up Brainstorm and I have been waiting for the others from wave 2 (Wolfire, Chromedome, Highbrow, and Mindwipe) to show up elsewhere, but the recent release of the wave 3 deluxe has me confused. Any clarification on this would be appreciated.

    Wave 2 Deluxes has been released, and some Target, Walmart, and Toysrus have Wave 3 as well, though it they seem to be more uncommon. Theres also a Wave 2 revision case which contains figures from Wave 1 and 2, although this case doesnt have Wolfwire and Mindwipe, only Highbrow and Chromedome, and a good number of stores have been receiving these as well.


    Also, if your interested, some Ross stores have Fort Max at a discount as well, at 54.99

    Thanks Shockblaster! It sounds like I'll have to venture out into the wild. I actually knew about Fort Max, but my wife has already picked one up for me for Christmas, but at that price, it is tempting to get a second one.

    Walmarts are actually receiving a large cardboard display of the Wave 2, 2nd revision. They might not be located in the toy section, but odds are the nearest Walmart has enough Wave 2 to make those hunting for Wave 3 a little batty.

    No problem.

    Also, TR Deluxes are currently around 10 dollars at Target and Walmart due to a rollback, however, they seem to increasingly receive the Wave 2 revision case instead of the full Wave 2 or even Wave 3, (at least in my area), but it might be different in your area. Also, some TRUs have TR deluxes at 19.99, though it depends on the store.
