I still do not get why he have cartoon symbol.

 

With all the attention to detail they've been doing with these MP's, especially with the recent ones, I still can't believe there's no perch on the left arm for Laserbeak. NOT a complaint - just a "huh" observation.  

 

After looking at that first page I thought he was going to be a triple changer Insecticon!

Actually he's about 3x as accurate as tracks. In fact, tracks is probably the MOST stylized MP we've ever gotten (not counting mp-03).

 

Nice art, dam, tranformation looks a bit of a panel one this time, looks great and the best out of the masterpiece line, looks solid indeed.

 

Just tape the dumb bird onto there, it was just that one scene in tftm and I don't think takara is just going to risk and change the arm just for that ONE scene, also, do they have to change both arms or one arm, wait, they could make an accessory to make that, but it'd be parts forming at the most. Laserbeak was Soundwave's calm bird, other than THE VAST PREDATORY BIRD, the bird perching thing is more of a Soundwave thing anyways.

 

You know what was also in "one scene" from the movie? Megatron's purple gun. And krimzeek.

God, I will be all over this once this is out.
I remember seeing this a few months ago and I think some said that this was a proto of an OSKO already, but with HasTak's close behind.
Then we had the full reveal and all those movie moments flashed back into my head.
April can't come soon enough.

A) I'm thinking you could probably calm down quite a bit. Like my post clearly stated - it's not a complaint, just an observation. Hardly anything to get that crazily defensive about. Wow.

B) Virtually *everything* we're getting with MP's now were "one scene only". Inferno wasn't carrying around Red Alert for the entirety of S2. We only saw Prime's energy axe and Megs' energy mace ONCE. We only saw Wheeljack's immobalizer thing ONCE. We only saw Red Alert's "crazy brain" things go off ONCE. We saw Tracks fly with car wings all of 2-3 times. We only saw Grapple's little tower gizmo ONCE. Etc etc etc. So don't make it sound like a thing that Takara would just overlook as being irrelevant.

C) I'm quite aware that if they COULD do it, then they probably would have. But it looks like it would impede the transformation, so they obviously CHOSE to leave it out.

 

Inferno has different arms btw.

 

I genuinely love the way the photos go from 'legs in normal position' to 'ohmygod the entire lower half EXPLODES' in consecutive panels.

 

That transformation looks amazing, and more important to me it looks fairly solid throughout the process, which with how complicated G1 Megs always has been as a toy is pretty freaking impressive to me.

 

Yeah lol even looking at those pics I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly how it works!  

 

As someone that grew up with the green tank G2 Megatron this can't get here soon enough. This is probably my most hyped Masterpiece figure next to the first reveal of MP-13. GIMMEE MEGATRON.

A small nitpick, but I wonder if you could tuck the legs into his hip/black waistplate further in. To avoid seeing the joint and make it look cleaner as in the sketch?

But whatevs. Complicated or not, I'm getting him. Two actually.

 

I wasn't yelling at you, my highlight buttons are working, so I had to make due of using capital letters, I don't like the idea of having the older masterpieces looking outdated from the g1 full cartoon masterpieces we have today, mp-10, 11, 12, 13 are great in my book, just don't make v2's of them, because I'm all outta money right now.

 

Watching this thread intently now. I've never been more excited to buy a transformer than now!
