from bot mode, i usually will move the arm sideways so the figure will look like a T shape. this way the back panels won't be touching the arms at all

I had an old bottle of Nu Finish in the garage back when my car was more important than transformers. That was a long time ago. All I can say is that it worked, I can't speak up about other stuff.

Thanks, I'll have to try that next time I transform him. I did try the arms in different positions, but I don't think I extended them outward.

So did you get the dino head cleaned up? Did it spoil your experience with the figure or are you enjoying him okay, or perhaps have other reasons for not being happy with him?

Not yet. I reached out to my etailer and they're emailing GP so we'll see how that goes. If I don't get a new head, I'll have to try the car wax solution, but that's not ideal.

The jury is still out for me on this guy. The head issue doesn't help, but there are a couple other issues with him that kind of disappoint me. All the fingers on his right hand are so loose they basically just flop unless I've got him holding his gun. And the dino jaw can be floppy as well. Two of the issues I had with him (separation on the dino back and getting those panels by the arms during transformation) have solutions based on comments by others on this board, I just haven't had a chance to try them yet. I need to screw around with him some more before I determine whether or not he's sticking around.

One thing I love about him is the look. GP did an absolutely fantastic job with the paint and detailing. Absolutely stunning. So as long as I'm just looking at him, he's awesome.

So just for shits and giggles I just watched the BSF review of Grassor (which reminded me of why I never watch his reviews) and it got me curious. Has anyone other than this ham-handed biased reviewer snapped the tail off of their Grassor? Although I treat that area with slightly more care than his other parts I cannot see how you could during a normal transformation.

The hinges on the tail are the weakest part of him. When I did my transformation video I showed where these hinges are and explained to be careful.

I feel Most of these reviewers that are getting pre production samples don't really care about the figure because they didn't pay for it with thier hard earned money.

I know it's a potential breakage area. I do use care with that area but not that much. I'm asking if anyone else has actually broken it.

I haven't seen any other than BSF. Not sure what your point is, though. Since only one person broke it we don't need to be careful with it? I didn't need to see it happen to know it's a weak point. Same with the FT dinos. I've never heard of anyone breaking the tail on those, but it's something I'm super careful of whenever I transform them. If something's gonna break, odds are it's going to be that.

My point was exactly what I asked. Has anyone other than BSF broken the tail off. Just a simple question... I asked because I immediately identified the tail as a potential breakage point and although I use a *little* extra care with that area, I am also not treating it like a delicate flower. After handling mine for a few weeks of average use and play/posing It seems perfectly sturdy enough for average adult handling and transforming. Then I watched this guy's video and he made it appear like it fell off just by him looking at. I assumed he was abusing it or it had previously been abused by another prior reviewer so just polling here if it is a real "thing" or he's the only one who broke his tail off. Seems like he's the only one just as I had thought.

Typically reviewers state liberally throughout their videos if a particular figure they are filming is a pre-production sample. In this case more than likely the figure being reviewed was a sample. Your production piece is probably much better and hasn't broken because it is production.

The chromed plastic of the tail feels solid. I am not taking any chances on breaking the hinge, so yeah I'm being careful. - its a single pin that holds it all together. For robot mode the tail can be removed. There are two screws that you can take out. (one for each half). Then the entire tail assembly can be gone for robot mode. One thing that is annoying is that the two halves of the back half - lower body down to the tail don't like to stay plugged into each other and a gap forms. Mostly its the last bit of the tail. I do have to say that regardless of these things I really like this figure and have no regrets about getting it. My FT Scoria is in bot mode. Grassor towers over FT Scoria in both modes. I'm keeping Grassor in alt mode.

They really should have figured out a way to have the tail fold into the bot legs when leaving the dino legs out. That tail kibble looks so, so much worse than the dino legs on the outside. Don't mind me, I'm just grumpy that we haven't seen shit about the metallic version -_-

    Ebay:
I swear, shipping from overseas is taking longer and longer these days.

Nothing against any sellers of course, but I know anything I've ordered overseas has taken a lot longer than usual these past couple of months.

It's hit or miss. My Reximus Prime took about a month, but two separate orders from Baba on ebay took less than 2 weeks. All were ordered around the same time. I've got another order from Baba coming; we'll see how long that takes.
