    As much as it pains me to say this, it's probably Windblade. She's basically the new Bumblebee.

    I can't see her being the conquering type. She's support for leaders, but it'd take a heck of a lot for her to get the crown at all, let alone be the Chosen One.

    Seriously I think it it Optimus since it has always been Optimus the main hero. Yet all the others could make sense.

    Not gonna lie i'd be cool if he wins if only to see how that would play out in the comics.

    Just to point out, when Rodimus told Optimus that carrying the Matrix felt "wonderful", he was lying to impress his idol. In the actual issue where he has to cart it around, he finds it extremely painful.

    I think a reasonable case could be made for Tailgate. He's gotten buckets of screen time and character development, especially compared to many other characters. He's gotten a special power. He has an unusual backstory. He is not really strongly affiliated to any faction. He is kind and brave and is a good person. From an analytical standpoint, looking at what kind of characters get called upon to be "chosen ones" and main heroes in series, he seems ripe for the job.

    Both in Marvel UK and Regeneration I quite liked Furman's handling of the original chosen one, Rodimus Prime.

    Who I wouldn't want to see are Tailgate, Alpha Trion, Windblade, Kup, Arcee, Rattrap or Wheeljack as Chosen One. Though if I had my way I'd never see any of those characters or Barber ever again.

    Plus is the chosen one the same as the arisen? Cause Tailgate very much rose from the ground at the beginning of MTMTE.

    I wouldnt underestimate her, she's allready one of the most influential Cybertronians around.
    And she isnt even Cybertronian.

    Hm, vaguely possible, but it seems to me more likely she'd be the right hand of the leader than the leader herself.

    Rodimus was the "Chosen One" in G1 media though. I thought Optimus might be the chosen one in IDW because they are making him 13 reborn.
