Have we ever had a mainline OP that did this miracle?

Another problem with the evasion are the joint of the forearms, technically when you spin them, the paint is stripped in a while.

Exactly. As crap as the dark grey looks, they could've left the collar piece as bare plastic rather than painting it blue. The sword is in silverish plastic but they go and waste a load of paint with all that unnecessary orange when they could've just used a small amount of red on the hilt. Same for the shield, why that light blue? The amount of red and blue needed on the shield would be much less than that. All I can think is they have to use roughly the same amount of each colour for some reason, but I don't see it happ ending with other toy like nes.

Though the HFTD figure was much better painted, I still don't get why the G1 homage deco was the regular version of that figure, other than the fact that it required a lot fewer paint apps.

I'm waiting for the inevitable Platinum Editions. The AOE Takara figures were slightly better than the Hasbro mass releases, but still not nearly as accurate as they could've been.

I really Hope that the platinum editions have a better quality in every aspect, the PE's for AoE just were new paint with worse plastic. (cough cogh evolution pack optimus cough cough)

Minus the 80% true colouring. It doesn't look a bad figure to be fair.

I think that's what makes it so frustrating, it's a decent mould with a much better transformation than the AOE figures, but doesn't shine like it should due to the paint job.

Just realized that every Movie Optimus Prime Figure, other than the SDCC DOTM Prime that I bought, is now in a garbage dump(or recycled plastic) or donated to Goodwill...I dont think I will bother with the TLK toys...

Well, I think that outta all the Voyager Optimus Primes/Convoys, I still like Movie Advanced (AD-12) Revenge & Evasion version the best.

The idea probably was to make the toy look better then the previous, which that mold kills it lol
