Ok so I managed to find this guy while I was at Universal Sat. A bit pricey at $30 but still better than importing. I knew the articulation limits when I bought this figure and I must say, it's a really nice voyager sized figure. I would have easily bought all three seekers out of this mold if they just added the damn knees. Oh well, used some spare thighs from my junk bin and gave him knee and thigh swivel articulation. Replaced the hands from an old RID Optimus so now he has wrist articulation too. Repainted the legs and added more paint apps to the bot mode. I am very pleased with the results and now he is my definitive version of Starscream In my collection. He's the same size as Galvatron.

It is worth it if you're up to fixing the legs. Figure is much better in hands than on pics. I had no interest in the figure when it was revealed. I really lucked out since my wife won the Universal tickets from a local radio station. Shame they didn't have that Megatron though, would have been perfect for a g2 repaint.

Hey how did you go about replacing the hip joints? Just found an extra powerglide to make thisbmod happen.

It actually fit almost as is. Just have to widen the hole in the hips slightly for it to fit. Had to pry the crotch apart to get to it though. The pin holding it together was a pain

Given their low cost of production ( clearly not as complex or as many parts as the mainline toys of similar size ), and large size, I figured these would be perfect for shelf filler at Family Dollar and Dollar General. Could you imagine these voyager sized figures for $15 ( seekers in all colors ) and the smaller deluxe sized ones for $10? That would be better than the legends sized figures you can buy there now.

I wish they would, had to order Megatron online and will do some work on him too. These figures are actually very nice in hand and with a little tlc they make fantastic CHUG figures.

I have CB Megatron right now and yeah, his articulation could use some improvement. I'd love to see what you do with it!

These, like some f the non-headmaster Titans Return figs, seem to have been designed to be more complex/"better" than the final result. I suspect Hasbro realised the potential of these figures, didn't want them interfering with an existing/upcoming line and then "dumped" them in Brazil. It wouldn't surprise me if they were going to be a fully articulated new line, then got canned by a rival design group/exec, in favour of (Titans Return?)

Only custon i ever did really was paint a chug deluxe prime in nemesis colors with paint pens and it looks admitedly terrible . it looks like the legs come from the chug voyager prime. what tools did you need to pull off this fantastic job?

By the molding on the legs it looks like he was meant to have knee articulation then they just did it one solid piece. had they delayed the line a year or so and really took their time these would have sold millions .
