My biggest gripe with Titans Return is that we FINALLY get some great G1 accurate characters ( Galvatron, Hot Rod, Scourge, Sixshot, Blurr and Getaway...I mean Breakaway) BUT they are all HEADMASTERS!  While I appreciate the  creativity and play value,  in the  end I wish  I had these great molds with  normal heads that won\'t get lost.

My son who is nine has yet to lose a single head. One may have gone missing for a few days but it turned up. If he can do it so can you.

I would have preferred normal heads for certain characters, as well, but at the same time I like the idea of piloted alt-modes. It's given me a reason to get both the Hasbro and Takara versions of the Deluxes - one for each mode.

Just take care of your stuff. I still have my Headmasters from my childhood complete and any other Transformer as well. I only peeled the stickers off, because I did not like the look of them. I still don't like stickers.

If there really is anyone who actually loses Headmaster heads, they really shouldn't be so eager to admit it.

Haven't lost a single one. Just plug them in or put them in the cockpit when you're done. The only time you would really lose them if if you're buying the Takara Legends Legends (as in Legends Class from Takara) where they come with an extra head that has nowhere to go, and at that point there's really no point.

I lose my head all the time. It's like a proper problem, I'll be there casually watching some film (Like Man of Steel) and BLAM! Triggered. I'll lose my shit, get all angry about the choices they made and head lost. My friends think I have an honest to God problem and need therapy. But all suggestions like that do is make me lose my head some more.

Oh wait, you were talking about Headmaster heads? Uhh... no. Not lost any of those.

I don't like this figure, but its simply because I don't like it. I don't like the arms being too big and the alt mode being too blocky. It's based on the toy itself, not some silly gimmick. If Hot Rod is a Headmaster so what.

God damn it! I'm impatient and I need to find this figure in the wild. Don't want to pay more than retail just to get it and kickback shipped to me. Hoping to snag it while deluxes are still $10 at the walmarts and targets of the world

image.jpeg I fucking love this figure, yet another well worked out, well articulated Carbot.

And I don't care about the "gimmick" or the fucking whining about it either. A good Toy is a good toy, and this is a damn fine example.

^ Seconded! After seeing what Takara did with Blurr, I've been holding out for their version of Hot Rod.

I also don't like the HM gimmick, but at least the ones that weren't Headmasters to begin with can be made proper with some modding. I already have Hot Rod about half way there, so the figure just got that much cooler for me.

If people don't like the gimmick, there's no reason to criticize them or call them whiners. It's all about personal preference. I never liked Headmasters whatsoever, but I'm really enjoying some of the figures I've been getting in this line. Do I now like Headmasters? No. Do I like well-engineered and fun mainline figures? Hell yes!
So far the only ones I haven't liked are Alpha Trion, Sentinel Prime, Chromedome and Getaway, so I don't own them. Pretty simple.

On the Hot Rod front, I don't think the arms are out of proportion whatsoever. I think the illusion is created by the somewhat narrow torso, making the arms seem disproportionate in that they're almost half as wide as the chest.
