It is 11:16am here in sunny Southern California. The movie starts tonight at 8pm. Walking, it should take me..roughly a half hour to get to the theater. Before I get in line (or find out where the line will be or whatever) I plan to stop at Burger King to see if they have any movie figures, then I'll grab lunch over at Taco Bell. By the time I get to the theater (after grabbing lunch) it should be around 12-ish. Will be in line for roughly 8 hours..and sadly my friend who was planning on going could not make it (pity that) so I will be in line..alone for 8 hours or so. Not too much in the way of entertainment. Gonna bring my CD player and CDs (the G1 movie soundtrack included, of course), and the novelization. I will also be bringing my broken DS as a method of telling time (no cell phone FTL). Should be an...interesting day I suppose. To you all, I bid good day.
Why do you have to wait in line for 8 hours? Could you not buy tickets ahead of time? Here, I bought tickets online. We are going to be about an hour early to get decent seats.. Too bad they don't have assigned seating.
Here in Oklahoma City, at the theatre I'm seeing it at, I called them, and they said there are 4 people in line already for the 8pm showing. I will be getting there pretty early, only so I can get a good seat. I myself am bringing my DS, and PSP. My friend will be playing one, I will be playing my PSP version of Final Fantasy I. -X-
holy shit! Why do you have to wait in line!?!? poor you man! I bought my ticket for the last friday screening without any problems like 2 weeks ago. and the movie theatre was like 80% EMPTY!! can you fucking believe it! Norway.....
We bought our tickets today at around 11am for the 8pm show. We'll probably be getting there around 7 so we can get good seats.
ah it's not a big deal, I will get there by 6 or what not, I dont expect a huge line or nerds to be waiting there being tickets are still available for purchase.
We ahd a free screening here. everyone could just come forth and get two free tickets and the first bucnh of peps in line could get some movie promo stuff like posters, toys and cloth. lol because of that free day being thursday and the screening at 1:30PM vary few people showed up or so i heard. lol hell even on saturday (my second view) there were like 50-90 people max. Out of 980!! cheesASS!
I really feel sorry for you. I just bought my ticket for 8 not five minutes ago. I'll get there about 40 minutes early for a good seat.
The theater we are going to is showing the movie in 3 (2 small, 1 big) auditoriums at 8:00. I think if we get there around 7, we will be ok. Every theater in Dallas has an 8:00 pm showing.
Dammit! 8:00 was sold out here. But thankfully, the awesome theater had another showing 25min. laterz
