Heavy Chinese pandering: CHECK Is there anything not wholly predictable about TF5? More of the same is not going to be a recipe for growth. The arrow is down already.
Hold up the last company was called 1905 Internet Technology? That sounds like some godawful steampunk/vaporwave hybrid band your buddy made. In all honesty, not too psyched at hearing this. Nothing against the Chinese (that Mongolian exchange student is still the best roommate I ever had) but I know that Paramount's only playing up to (read: pandering) to them because it means money, and when it comes to Transformers Paramount has a bad habit of putting money over story. Which means we should expect another nonsensical bullshit relocation to China in the third act for The Last Knight so Bay can continue to shill Chinese companies and products. Hopefully the trailer tomorrow can alleviate SOME of my worries but I also have three finals in one day (one of which is learning how to script supervise so if anyone who knows anything about film has any advice on that pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase help a brother out).
