I agree. Looks more like a g1 cartoon Jazz, imo. I do not like the toyworld one at all.

 

I personally think the face part of the head-sculpt could use a little work and hope they change it so stereo speakers (not megaphones like they have here but they could change it so you could just pop the speakers off and put megaphones there if you prefer I guess) come out the doors (but you could just pop them off and put them where they are in these images) like reveal the shield jazz

We don't know, but I'm personally not going to bother. I dislike taking chances with new companies. Maketoys and (possibly) MMC have their own Jazzes planned, so there's really no reason for me to stick with this.

 

It could be alive, like how Omnigonix was alive. Hopefully it won't be treated so poorly, but long factory waits with no news doesn't help enthusiasm.

Especially when we know a Toyworld & Maketoys version is on the way.

Well, I've gone ahead and pre-ordered the Maketoys version. I still think this looks better, and I've still got it pre-ordered through BBTS (no money up front), so if it is ever produced, I'll get it then and decide which to keep.

I honestly don't think we'll see it now though. Shame.

 

My fear is this would end like Omnigonix at this point.

That was my fear in my the beginning. I was interested in this but with Maketoys announcement I'm over this.

 

I still have a fully paid up pre-order for this guy at Kapow.
I'll wait for more Jazzes to appear before making my decision on whether to cancel.

So are retailers issuing refunds to those who've preordered (paid)?

 

I imagine they have to at this point or issue some kind of response. Every report we have had is that this is dead and nothing has refuted that in six months.

 

18 months since preorders went up, nothing but nothing in terms of signs of life in half that time. Three other Companies that actually make stuff working on theirs.

Call it.

 

Is this actually different than TW's...minus the random choices TW threw in? I just assumed TW bought the design.
