Thanks for the quick answer Dake. I was fortunate to find a set a nearby Ross on SW Military Dr. yesterday. Though the Movie/Bay-verse designs aren't my favorite, I couldn't resist G1-headed Dinobots in a gorgeous box-set for a decent price. I'd still like to get a CW Computron, G2 Menasor or Superion set for cheap in San Antonio, if they pop-up somewhere close, though.

Definitely. I wanted these heads for the SDCC Dinobot set which has better colors, but I wasn't interested in paying the huge price. I won't feel bad about cannibalizing these for parts though.

But yeah - I'm still holding out hope for Computron at Ross or TJ Maxx.

 

Yes the aoe platinum Dinos. Having them in hand it's amazing how fragile they are. Snarl is the most brittle of the bunch, but on display, they aren't half bad.

Saw 1 G2 menasor and 1 G2 superion at TJ Maxx in Flowermound. Both still there.

 

I stopped at the forum toysrus at 1604/35 and nothing new. There was 3 pegs full of tr wave 1 deluxes and 2 more boxes on the top shelf of tr wave 1 deluxes so no wave 3 anytime soon at that toysrus.
There is some new Neca predators for those interested. All 3 with removable helmets. Spike tail, ghost, and I forgot the other but it glows in the dark

 

Finally found skylinx at Ross off of pipeline in Fort Worth. Only had the one. Bunch of onslaughts motormasters and white Optimus primes (nova prime to me)

Bedrock City Comics on Westheimer/Voss got some packaged G2 figures in. I got a sealed G2 Starscream for $55.   They have a Jazz for $45 and I also saw Deluge (both look sealed).



Marshalls off 290/Hollister has 1 CW G2 Menasor boxset for $39.99.

 

Nice pick up. I remember seeing them in stores and I passed on them... Those were the days...

I was there last night and there's still two of them. Don't know if it's the same ones or a restock. They look surprisingly nice but I already have the movie Dinobots and while they look good, they suck ass as action figs.  

 

That's probably the same two remaining then. Yeah, I figure the market for those is a little smaller than the combiners.

Found Hot Rod/Triggerhappy/Twinferno/Breakaway at the 1960 and Eldridge Walmart (there's still a couple of each left). Better still, they rang up on sale for 9.88!

 

Isn't that a first sighting?

 

I picked up Hot Rod, Triggerhappy, Twinferno. and Breakaway at the Walmart off 635 and beltline rd. in Garland and they rang up at $9.88. There was at least one more Hot Rod and Twinferno.
