Basildon TRU had 2 Hot Rods (1 left now) while Pitsea Tesco had in Rumble, Ravage and Laserbeak

 

Reading TRU has a Twinferno and two Hot Rods - £7.99 a pop

I picked up Hot Rod, Triggerhappy and Twinferno from TRU Lakeside Friday for £4.49 each after staff couldn't find the appropriate code to scan it against. Some kid had nabbed Getaway before me (oh the irony).

I made a quip to the lady that served me about being Black Friday and she replied, 'Oh we do aim to please'.

 

 

Now I'm starting to feel ripped off over paying £12.49 for mine. Ah well, swings and roundabouts. Take advantage while you can, folks.

£7.99? You'll have to tell me how you did that. I picked up Hot Rod, Triggerhappy and Twinferno, and after they didn't scan, I had to wait for a long time while some guy went off to try and find a price for them. In the end I got them all for £29.97. Still a very decent price for 3 Deluxe figures. So I'm happy right now.

 

How was the stock of those Legends in Tesco?

 

Can the folks who spotted wave 3 stuff in TRU Stevenage let me know where in the store they were; I went in there bright n early this morning to find absolutely bubkus!! I even asked a member of staff if they had any (oh the fun); according to his scanner, they had 40 - when in fact they had nothing! Not only that, but the price tag on the shelf had gone up to £15.99!! So understandably, I'm not in the greatest of moods at the mo..

Good job I dont have a drinking problem over this sort of thing; i'd be on my 4th liver by now!!

 

Gateshead Toysrus had getaway, a few hot rods and a few twinfernos. I walked away with a hot rod and a twinferno and asothers have said they wouldn't scan but managed to get them for £5.99 each

 

It was a bit of a mess with wave 1 and 2 all mixed together along with rid minicons but I spotted a few more wave 2 left

 

So, all you chaps who have been getting them between £4 and £10 - do you suggest the RRP to the cashier, or do they decide it themselves/by calling manager?

I didn't suggest anything and kept my mouth schtumn - waited for them to tell me the price before I confirmed what they said (trying to hide my astonishment/excitement). The shop floor staff spent ages scurrying around before getting the lady behind the computer to take a look.

 

Is it all the deluxes or just the wave 3?

 

I only saw the Deluxes in TRU the other day.

 

I didn't say anything I just waited for them to tell me how much they were. With me they went out to the section to see what it said on the shelf but there wasn't any price tickets for them so I think they just decided on a price themselves while I just stood there looking slightly amused when they said £5.99

 

Sorry I mean ringing up at that price. I guess it is because wave 1 at least has been in there system for a while...

No chance in buying yourself through an old case to see them restock I suppose...
