I'm surprised the Datsuns aren't fully painted protos. The CR page on taobao lists them as shipping in November, so I thought they'd be a tad closer to completion than that.

Great to see the UM figure progressing though. I like the original white-prime Revo magnus, and Iron Factory's legends figure is about the right size, but we need a proper G1 revo UM. Can't wait.

Yeah, that Soundwave made me question if this is actually a current pic or something from a while back. Unless we're getting a new deco or v2? I don't know of anything with the original soundwave release that would warrant a v2. Very curious.

 

I thought this was a Grapple update.

 

Yeah, I'm surprise about the Datsun not fully painted as well. In regard to the current pic, this pic was photographed from the SGC 2016 as per DaimChoc FB album. Don't know if it's the angle or this is indeed CR Soundwave v2, it kind of look better than the earlier release. Otherwise, I can't wait to display Revo white Magnus with this newly CR UM side by side.

 

Just wondering why the resistance to paying via fb or email? If you pay via PayPal goods and services you're covered.

Alot of members buy figures thru me and some suppliers I use via this method and they have been pretty happy for the most part with the results... Just curious. Not criticising...

 

I don't have a Facebook page and I do, do it though e-mail & Paypal with this designer of these products. It's one of my very few exceptions, otherwise I use online stores.

beside the fact that the revoltech standard these figures follow is extremely dated? I've said it before, I have nothing against the idea of awesome robot figures that sacrifice transformation for the sake of a better bot, I just think continuing the path of the revolver joint is hideously limiting to the potential.

 

Just like your post had potential to be convincing if not for the unnecessary snark from the start?

Back on topic, cool looking Datsun triplets! Always did like the design of what were essentially the Autobot versions of Seekers. The colors and paint jobs really make 'em pop!

CR fans like the fact that they fit with all the previous TF revos (official and 3P). It would be highly disappointing (to many of us anyway) if they switched to some other joint/style/aesthetic at this point. It is what it is, but clearly it's not for you. Different strokes, etc, etc.

 

I ever used a Taobao buying agent called Superbuy to buy some ice cube trays from Chinese Taobao, the service is not bad.

 

I'd like to get some news on the Sixshot & Magnus release.

Yeah, Sideswipe came out as a pair with Red Alert some time ago. Don't know if you can still find him now...

 

True, I guess I could e-mail him and see who's next and get an ETA. He did tell me Trailbreaker was in the future plans.
