Not sure if this is a one off but if anyone is looking for the wave 2 devices, my local target had a fresh case of them for 9.99. Add in the 20% coupon, 7.99 is a steal

Don't know if anyone's still looking for them, but there's an Astrotrain and an Alpha Trion at the Addison Mall Target.

Happy Bday, brother! :D  I was thinking of doing the same but... reviews? I am worried a guy THAT massive will have joint issues or stressed plastic, etc. To be fair, FT has not done anything in that scale, so it's a new game for them...

But yeah, I was gonna joke that I can't wait to see your pics, BHiga! :thumb  I guess you really will have them! :D

I thought their Dinobots were in that same MP scale? I have all five of those, and they are FREAKING AWESOME!

Yeah, what BHiga said! :)  Didn't Planet X's Omega have an issue with his waist joint breaking and splitting the toy in half? I heard a story of that @ Dairycon... and the dude that broke it didn't even own it!

I just think the bigger bots have a whole different set of tolerances and requirements, but that most toy companies don't really account for that. For example, stronger plastic, better ratchets, etc. At this scale, Omega's arms could be massively heavy and difficult to prop up or pose. I'm not saying FT will blow it, but I am saying this is their first crack at a 2 foot tall TF, so some mistakes are likely to be made. :(  Scoria, for example, had bad shoulder joints, and he wasn't even that large. I just want some reviews! :)

And releasing it in two parts is fine with me. Gives me more time to collect the funds and sell stuff! :D

If anyone is on the fence with MP Inferno, go get him. So awesome!

Plus the new tiny diecast bonus figures are pretty cool. Like the decoys from back in the day.

    Hey guys and gals!

Happy Thanksgiving late as usual, back to living at work thru the end of the year................................

I know a lot of us have kids now and I joined the Lake Shore Model Railroad Association with my older boy last year.

70th Anniversary Open House is next weekend Dec. 3rd and 4th from noon to 4pm both days. It is located at the Calumet Park Field House.

It would be cool to see some folks on Sat the 3rd when I will be there. Its a nice place to check out and the club is kid friendly.

Now Transformer content. Thank God I somehow managed to preorder Inferno from overseas and got the email the other day..... Don't even remember when I did it.

Is there an issue I don't know about concerning MP Buzzsaw? Mine broke, so i got a replacement which also broke in a different spot. And i know at least one person on this board who also had a broken MP Buzzsaw. Statistical anomaly?

Man I am going to have a massive backlog once I get back into the collecting game.

Since I lost my job I've stopped all purchases cold turkey. It did help me put into perspective exactly what I was spending on this hobby though and it did not make me happy.
So even though there will be a lot to catch up on, I'm strictly limiting myself to one purchase a month no matter what.

Another good thing though, I've really had time to actually enjoy and admire what I have for once instead of simply hording more. Its been really eye opening and reinforces even more that I will be strictly MP when I resume collecting.
