Just ordered the Firestar & Maxima heads & weapons...kids talked me into it...told me I'm always getting for everyone else...when was rhe last time I grab something without having to sell something first...so since it was/is my birthday I went ahead...I deserved to  ...ordered a few Gnaw / Sharkticons (Amazon.com seller had them at $10) as well...can't wait until in hand...don't know how soon I'll be able to get it painted...but...at least I'll have them...next order will be Moonracer & accessories...for sure...

Thank you...!!!...needed that luck on Gnaw...already had the wave in my POL at BBTS...so needed a few more...still planning on at least one to two more...and...then a TT variant as Gnaw himself...what variant of her weapon were you planning on basing Moonracer s weapon on...???...I don't recall the options out there.. did V1 show her with a blaster...???...

 

Hmm...doable. Even better, I have a spare Jumpstream and I recently discovered the Breakdown and Dead End moulds use the same size ball socket, so I might be able to make a CW Moonracer now.

 

Since I had a spare streetwise and I didn't want to buy another victorion set, I made a moonracer chest plate for streetwise. I modeled it after her IDW appearances.


Not on Shapeways just yet... but soon! I'm not totally happy with it yet though so I have been tweaking it. Also, I'm working on one that looks a little more G1.

In the meantime, if any one has any suggestions about it, please let me know.

I've been sitting around all day working on a feminine looking chest for a robot. PC be damned.

Roboboobs. There, I said it.

 

I still have a few paint applications to put on her...pale purple on the jet intakes, wingtips, feet, upper arms, and a few spots on the head. Maybe a few bits of seafoam green. Now I have to go hunt down a CW car for Moonracer!

 

Oh man that is looking sweet! Please post an update when you get the rest of the details on. I am planning to buy another RID Windblade and copy you if I am able.

Re: Moonracer: currently my chest only works for Streetwise. Oddly Streetwise uses vertical chest tabs and the Deadend/Wildrider use horizontal tabs.   Also, on breakdown the tabs are on the undercarriage of the car instead of the chest.

No worries, just let me know which one you want to use it with and I will release another version. Or you could just use one of the Victorion girls and skip my chestplate if you are happy with theirs. The other difference with the Victorion girls is the daintier forearms/hands. But personally I am fine with my fembot warriors looking a little more beefed up. Honestly, I didn't want to buy another whole Victorion, especially since the other CW cars have been on sale a lot. I just went with Streetwise since I already had an extra, who unfortunately still needs a bit of elbow surgery...

Here is a quick digibash with my Lancer head.


I do not currently have an AOE deluxe drift. I can pick one up. But before I do, it also occurred to me to use RID Warrior drift. I could easily to a head and chest replacement on that. Here is a quick digibash of the head replacement. I would redo the chest to look more like G1 Lancer too


I can do both if there is enough interest.

I was also thinking about greenlight. Again going from one of @siegfried07's digibashes with my Greenlight head added in:

 

Digging the AOE Drift-Lancer idea, lukewarm on the RID Drift-Lancer (though the paint job and a new chestplate could change my mind).

re; Lancer: Yeah I agree. I'm not crazy about RID drifts proportions and he doesn't have a ball jointed neck. So, I went ahead and ordered an AOE drift.

Also I'm working on the G1 Greenlight head for WFC Bumblebee. So far it's looking good on that mold. I just have to get her mohawk under control so she can transform properly.

Wonder if its possible to make a few parts for Generations Tailgate to make vehicle mode look more like the 3rd-Party Tailgate or rather more like Moonracer s alt...???...

I really like that Maketoys Tailgate idea but I dont want to pay $59 for it. for that much, I could buy the MMC arcee/solus/elita mold, which has a nice cybertronian alt mode. I do have the generations one though. Hmm. It might be possible to do what you are suggesting.

I came up with an alternate transformation for Gen Tailgate that looks a little more cybertronian.

This also means that I can replace the canopy part with something more cybertronian fairly easily as long as you are comfortable with removing and reinserting a pin.

Let me know if you can think of other legends/scout size molds that could work for the other female autobots.

PS. I am also doing a CW Greenlight similar to the CW Moonracer with head and chest addon. Coming soon...

 

Love that idea...a new canopy would do wonders towards getting a fair Cybertronian mode...a pin should be no problem...

From Deadend: As I said before, the slots on Streetwise are different from Deadend. So Deadend requires a different chest model. But don't hate Deadend because he is beautiful.

Made a blaster for Moonracer based on her G1 peashooter.


I am thinking of doing some addons for the cw cars that will make them look a little more cybertronian and give Moonracer her shoulder horns. I found this to be a good reference for all things Moonracer.

Also, if anybody has any pics of Greenlight's or Lancer's blasters, please share. I skimmed through the Search for Alpha Trion and google images and didnt turn up much.

 

Hmmm...don't believe I've seen them carry in G1...and...what few images I've seen in the comics...I believe one is carrying a bō...and...the other a lancer...I think...that works for them as gaurds...maybe toss in a generic Cybertronian taser...or...peashooter...how about a second set of weapons...as sometimes they've been depicted as Scientist/Historians while being assistants to an Archeologists...could be neat...
