Aren't both PMOP and Ultra Magnus larger than Jetfire? And around the same height as Blaster? I don't think PMOP is short, I think Sixshot is tall.

 

So just to clarify since there is a bunch of activity in this thread. You can fully transform Sixshot into all 6 modes without removing the headmaster?

Damn...he's right. Even then, do I get separate Sixshots to display him in both gun mode and """""submarine""""" mode? Do I ignore one of those? These are decisions I didn't think I'd have to make today.

SWEET. That to me is a great size for Sixshot. Hexatron always took up a little to much space width-wise, but in terms of height he was perfect. This figure is about as tall, but he won't eat up as much space on the shelf. Also this is the perfect size for fighting Ultra Magnus.

 

Damn, then he wouldn't fit onto my shelf anyway. Pmop is the biggest that fits in there :/

 

You could have him kneel. If I end up getting both a US and Takara version I may have to do this as well, since the Takara shelf (formerly '86 & '87 until Titans Return gave me all of this) can barely fit Magnus. Or I might just build a little Sixshot shrine with the Takara one in the center, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

 

I just hope overlord is the same size as pmop....

 

Only they make actual good stickers, rather then Hasbro's cheap thin metallic stickers that just seem to be there out of laziness.

 

Has there ever been a case where a Hasbro release had stickers... and the subsequent Takara version got tampographs? Doesn't seem like it bodes well for the Legends release.

Well, the Prime line was the opposite. But it depends on the way the toy is molded. if there's a defined, recessed area of detail specifically for applying the sticker, it's hard for the silicone tip of the tampo machine to get in there, hence, the TT version ends up with stickers, too. If it's just stickers on a flat area like Wave 3 Megatron's chest, that should be tampo-able.

 

I guess there are some cases. But I have a feeling this will not be the time. But as I now know I don't even have room for him, I don't mind anymore

Yeah I don't think the Takara one will have the stickers. Not on a separate sheet and not tampographed. Because currently cartoon accuracy is their goal with the Legends figures, in this case accuracy to the Japanese Headmasters cartoon, where Sixshot looks like this:



No stickers are necessary to accomplish that look. Although I expect them to at least tampo a simple Decepticon logo on him somewhere.

Taiwan have leak out the Sixshot. Hasbro/Takaratomy standard is not the same as those 17+ 3rd party (Remember, 10+ kid friendly).
The official "Sixshot" & "Greatshot" mold does not come with a sword. Only Shadowmaru came with more weapons(sword, pistol, rifle, ninja star.)
If Takaratomy wanted to milk more money, "Greatshot" and potentially not "Shadowmaru" will be the way to go and hype up a lot of friends.

I just keep geeking out that jack is his headmaster. I prefer the japanese headmaster sixshot cause he became the conflicted villian the fact he has one of those he killed as a headmaster really has me geeked way out.
