It is a packed month for IDW! The Transformers Annual comes out, with Pyra Magus getting a bit of the spot light and we see how Optimus Prime met Bumblebee. Till All Are One's Titan's Return portion of its story looks like it'll conclude with issue 8. Lost Light, Whirl's in the spotlight.   And on Optimus Prime, negotiations between the Transformers, Junkion's, and humans falls apart.

On the expanded front, Revolutionaries, a long kept secret encounter between Joe Colton and Soundwave comes to light.

And the MASK Annual on a side note, featuring a MASK/G.I. Joe team up.

Interesting characters getting focus in this month.

It blows my mind just how behind TAAO is in universe.

 

TAAO isn't behind at all, its TR tie-in takes place after Revolution like everything else.

Yeah it is -- Corto Maltese in Siberia! FINALLY!!! One of the best graphic novels ever published in the world, finally back in print in English.

It's a comedic one-shot that's its own continuity.

 

The origin of Pyra Magna--can't wait to get some insight on her. Is she a good gal or just after the Matrix and why? What if she is the Mega-Empress?

Lots of cool stuff coming up!

I'm guessing the Adventure Team/Soundwave situation takes place shortly before his old Spotlight issue? The 1984 Earth stuff in that completely involved him dealing with Bludgeon's team at Mount St. Helens, not even mentioning previous travels on the planet from what I remember.

Good thing the Revolution hardcover comes out around the same time as the paperbacks. Even if the issues aren't organized by story order (but please do that, IDW, please), it'll be great to have the whole thing in one place rather than jumping from book to book.

I think Autovolt is referring to the current TAAO arcs spanning shorter times and - because of release problems - connecting to the other TF comics through stories that are at least a few months old at that point. The first four issues explore maybe a couple weeks in-story (but that involved an in-issue jump), and these four Titans issues might only take place in a single day from the sound of it. Happening sometime after Revolution pushes it ahead a bit and maybe not link to Lost Light or Optimus Prime currently, but issue 9 or so may need another time skip to chronologically catch up to those series.
