The combined form is Wild Zyuoh King from Zyuohgers. The block zord with the tiny sword on the left is Zyuoh King, the other one is Zyuoh Wild.

 

That is the question I should have asked first. Considering how good these figures are as a whole I'm not super upset that the heads aren't swappable.

I dont mind waiting a bit, Sirtoys has pages for big Streetwise, First-aid and a pair of OS Aerialbots that seemed to pop up out of nowhere, which I want pretty much just to see if they are compatible with Defensor.

Cause that'd be sic.

Oh, it's definitely not a complaint about these figures themselves, so much as a wistful disappointment based solely on their original source molds by Hasbro. Sometimes I wish Has/Tak stuff was designed with just a bit more modularity (standardized balljoints, for example).

I guess that, with Titans Return, the heads are at least modular now...

not sure what you mean, but the only cw KO's in the same scale as Wei Jiang OS Defensor are Wei Jiang OS Defensor. Any other current KO's are of different sizes and not compatible.
Plus the other two limbs are supposed to come out next year.

So what is it that you are after?
There are two identical versions of this set, one with die cast, and one without.

Hey, guys! My buddy just scored this blast-from-the-past at a thrift store. It may be a well-known piece, but it's new to me so I thought I'd share just in case.

At first, we thought it was a bizarre custom, but another friend found box art online. Anyone familiar with these?

 

I've never actually seen one, other than pictures online. It's one of those notorious oldschool KO figures, but I guess nobody had any in my neighborhood as a kid. I think your photos are the only ones I've ever seen of the robot mode. I never realized that his body was yellow.

The winged Sludge comes from an old school KO line called Prehistory Animals - there's a Grimlock, Snarl and Slag as well, all with remolded features.

 

i wish someone would ko them. and gobots while they're at it.

Damn nice find

 

I actually just picked up this same guy at a local toy show this past weekend. Kinda blew my mind so I had to have him. That's awesome to see the boxart. I need to get a hold of some Sludge weapons for him. The info I got was he's part of a line called Dino Robo made by a Korean KO company called Four-Star. They did a bunch of re-molded G1 KO's. I can't say all that info is 100% correct (Especially since that's not what the boxart says) but my friend knows his obscure toy info pretty well. He actually pointed another figure out at a different table using a G1 Kickback torso with all kinds of other appendages. I passed on him though because he was straight up missing an arm. Probably should have gotten it though cause it was probably only a dollar...
