    TCP's calendar is never meant to be the final word on release dates. They originally had Planet X Starscream for December 12th, but the thing actually showed up on their doorstep yesterday.

    Just pay attention to ActionRobo. Once they got their stock, it's one week after for Western retailers.

    Their facebook just mentioned they expected it first week of Dec. So USA looking like mid Dec at earliest i guess

    I been torn between this and the MMC IDW Megs, but Rioter is ahead. What would push me over for sure is if Maketoys added a small 5mm handle gun of Rioter's gun alt mode for other figures to hold. At this point I'm sure its too late but hopefully, one of you talented Shapeways artist would do one please?

    Both figures couldn't be more different so if you can only get one it doesn't matter which you choose you'll still be missing out on a significantly unique and awesome megatron toy either way.

    The figure is pretty close to shipping, so I don't think they will make changes at this point. The MMC version of Megatron won't ship until the end of next year and converts to a tank. If you want a highly stylized and articulated CHUG Megatron that converts to a gun and looks great with Striker Manus, Fansproject, and other CHUG figures, this is the perfect version. I'm still planning on getting the MMC version and would take both of those over the MP version if I had to make a choice.

    Same here ... I'm leaning a bit toward mmc because of the alt mode. Both have fantastic bot mode, but MMC beat MT alt mode imo. A tank is so much more fun to play with than a gun. I wonder if it possible to transform MT rioter into some kinda 2 legged walking gun tank ?

    Given the posability, and the way the legs transform to bulk up the gun mode and form the handle, I think it's hughly possible to turn R. Despotron at least in some kind of turrett/cannon ala Galvatron. I do like the gunmode, but I look forward to see what can be done in terms of fan-modes with such an articulated figure.

    I am not sure I am in on this one. It turns out I just have too many Megatrons. MT MP Size Despotron, Hegemon, Granville, CW, TF Prime (both Deluxe and Voyager), FoC. And I am not even a Megatron fan!!!

    Rioter is definitely not as impressive as Striker as an action figure. I guess i will just give my matrix sabers to the two Striker moulds.
