ummm maybe 'm wrong....but I thought it was fairly obvious that "MP3" is a holomatter avatar of one of the scavengers

 

Here's what I could make out from the first page for those who are having trouble. Hope this helps!

Panel One:

- I heard he's gone full pacifist
- No way. Not Megatron. No way.
- It's a fakey ruse fake-out. Give it a few months. He'll rock up with a billion new 'Cons and tear Optimus a new Matrix compartment.
- Bah!
- That's literally all you ever say.
- Hello?

Panel Two:

- Piloting. That's more my thing. Starrhoppers, KK404, Astrofreighters... beautiful. Man, what I wouldn't give for a worldsweeper.
- One day, GB. One day.
- Where did you say you were posted again?

- Push off. This is a private conversation.

- When the war ended I was on Aquaria
- Infiltration Squad?
- Yeah.
- Me too. Nebulon. Did NOT end well.


Panel Three:

- I don't feel I fit in at all. Never have. I just... don't gel. Do you know what I mean?
- GB?
- Sorry- I was dragged into a game of Shoot shoot bang bang
- I know what you mean. I was pretty lost until I found the guys I'm with now.
- You know what? I'm still pretty lost.
- My teammates and I... we don't see eye to eye at all. They think I'm too sensitive.
- That's what I like about you.

Panel Four:

- Can you talk?
- ...
- Sound ominous. Everything OK?
- I've got a question. Very silly. But...
- What?
- What? Go on.
- Did you want to meet up?

Based on everything, Grumpybox is almost definitely Crankcase. His icon resembles him vaguely, he's definitely a scavenger- shoot shoot bang bang is mentioned. He also mentions being a pilot- and last I recall he pilots the W.A.P.

 

Grimlock. Good.

 

Calling it now Cons4eva is probably one of Galvatron\'s old crew. Most likely Needlenose. Looking for a rebound boo after Horri-bull got his head \"asploded\"

That or its some kinda edc/gijoe/mask trap meant to lure in decepticons

 

Going off the Nebulon comment I am hoping its Darkwing! I remember him and Crankcase being there when Thunderwing showed up.

 

I love its self-awareness about being a toy-franchise-comic in a toy-franchise-comic crossover.  These three awesome pages (even though I can barely read the first one) reinforce just how abysmal the rest of Revolution has been.

 

Needlenose was one of those Decepticons on Cybertron who was combined into the Deceptigod and taken prisoner by the Autobots afterwards, though. Like Thundercracker, he definitely wasn't on Aquaria when the war ended.

Crankcase was the one who made the Nebulos comment. I think they'd be showing a lot more familiarity with each other if it was Dreadwing; this is being played like they've never met in-person before.

 

MP3 sounds like a really bad take on those "Adult think he's being hip and cool to appeal to the childrens" characters you see in cartoons.

That was my first impression too, just comedy out of touch enough to be an alien (giant robot) faking it.

 

Hard to figure out who's who in the chatroom but Grumpybox is Crankcase. the "Bah!" is a dead giveaway as well as the retort of "literally all he says."

Anyone else finding it hilarious that Grimlock is stomping on Amarillo, again!

 

Yeah, MP3's helmet does share elements with Fulcrum's. I have to agree with the holomatter hypothesis.

 

These three pages are full of win.  I especially love the Zoids shout out!

MP3 is the best G.I Joe character since Blowtorch and the Porkchop Sandwiches PSA.

I think Soundwave might be Cons4Eva.

 

Could be, but it feels like a very Un-Soundwave-y name.

 

Having a looksee through TFWiki there are two candidates for CONS4EVA that weren't seen on Cybertron until after the war and came to Earth during ex-RID Season 2; Squeezeplay and Slugslinger.
Whether either could be considered "sensitive"–by Decepticon standards at least–I don't know, although that is also assuming CONS4EVA isn't an Earth-based Decepticon that we just haven't seen "on-screen" yet.

 

Yeah, I can't see Soundwave ever using that name, and the person in the chat also sounds nothing like him. Plus, he was also on Cybertron, not Aquaria, when the war ended.

I think people expecting CONS4EVA to be one of exRiD's regular cast members are going to be disappointed. It'll more than likely be a background character, or--as grindcore138 says--someone who hasn't even appeared on-screen.

 

Since Aquaria is probably a water planet, could it be Submarauder?
He was apparently rejoined Galvatron, so he should theoretically be on earth.

 

Oh, that's a good shout, going by his character summary he could certainly fit the profile.
