Hm, he looks great, but is shorter than I realized. Figured he'd be closer to Prime/Megatron's height.

My only complaint is that they made him WAY too small.

People have always said this and it just seems to me that they have bad eye sight since I've never once been confused as to who was on screen at any given time even in the first film.

I can see how they can blend together in the later films, but in the first one we had like 9 robots in total, and each one had a pretty distinct(minus megatron) Color scheme, so I really don't know how one can confuse say... Jazz for Bumblebee, or Blackout for Brawl lol

Hahaha, oh my God dude, OH MY GOD! You are so damn funny, I've never heard that joke before in my life! Have you ever considered getting into standup? You'd make a killing with such original, biting material. Your mother and father must be so proud, and yet here you are wasting your talent on a message board about a kid's toyline from the 80's.

Anyways, it looks good, but the HFTD Leader is still all I need to be my perfect movie Starscream. My God I love that figure. It's probably the pinnacle of the movie toyline.

As others have said, the scale of these figures is a bit all over the place. Wish Bee was smaller (about half the size of Optimus) and Starscream was bigger (more closely matching Megatron's height). It's very odd that Bee (who transforms into a Camaro) would be similar in bulk and height as Starscream (who transforms into a huge F-22A Raptor fighter jet). Even Megatron's head seems strangely large in comparison to Prime (maybe Optimus has a pinhead as far as proportions go). Still, very awesomely detailed figures.

For those concerned with height, SS *can be taller. Taller than megs. I kept him in a squatted stance since he's like that most of his time on screen. But, he's not in scale per say, none of them are.

I almost wonder if he'll end up scaling better with my Wei Jiang KO Prime. He'll probably be a little too big for that, but we'll see. He also may be too detailed.

It's cool that his legs can make his height adjustable, but it's still the lack of mass on Starscream as compared to Megatron that I'm disappointed with. As you admitted yourself, it seems there was little thought to any of these 4 figures scaling correctly with each other (the argument can be made that at least Optimus and Megatron look alright together but Starscream is slightly undersized and Bumblebee is especially too oversized). Just hope 3A's future TF offerings take character scale into more careful consideration.

Just saw photos of oversized KO's of the MP -11 Starscream mold but in the original MP-03 colors (both the Walmart white and Takara military blue versions -- very odd choices to KO). That said, I haven't picked up on any Wei Jiang products yet but they do look good.

it's funny, I expected to have the most issue with BB's size- but seeing them all line up together I think Starscream bugs me more. I know BB should be smaller than he is, but I display them together and have no real problem with the size difference. Starscream really ought to be as big as Prime and Megs. It will be all the weirder because I don't display Megs (not even sure I'm going to keep him long term), so if Starscream gets displyed with them he's just the decepticon midget- this is where it would be cool if he scaled workably with Wei Jiang's oversized AOE Optimus.

Speaking of that Optimus- now that I've been staring at him for at least half a year, maybe most of a year- I've reached the point where I'm pretty sure he actually is my nicest transforming movie Optimus (and I've got some very nice ones). I definietly recommend him.

I can hardly wait for mine to arrive.
Still bummed that 3A has moved on to the later movies because DOTM has some of my favorite designs.

These figures are great though. I'm glad 3A desided to make them, and at such a large size. I've caught my friends just staring at them on my shelf.
