Well, I guess I'll be making my own trailer tonight.

 

I think this was the most most disapointing moment for me as a transformers live action movie fan.    

 

This will be epic, as always.

I'm guessing you weren't lurking on here back when the Great AoE Trailer Drought of 2014 happened?  

 

i was on the internet at that time yes i do remember. The marketing was so slow for AOE.

 

Yes, it was. So slow that a lot of people got REALLY mad at one point. I'll never forget that lol

 

That didn't stop those people from seeing the movie.    

 

I expect the marketing to be different this time around given the other sequels and movies being released around the same time. Teaser trailer should come with either Fantastic Beasts or Rogue One with a Superbowl trailer following in February and a full trailer in April/May

As for my thoughts on the trailer, the 'turn Earth into Cybertron' theory makes the most sense given how Cybertron was either heavily damaged or completely destroyed in 'Dark Of The Moon' and the returning cast may hint that this is related to that movie - added to this the idea that 'Seeds' were introduced in Transformers Age Of Extinction - and you then have what is needed for turning Earth into Cybertron.

The 'Creators' probably factor into Unicron as many have theorised, the idea that there is a massive threat looming on the horizon and they want to clear the playing field for his arrival (Or to prevent his arrival) Though I'm still unsure if Unicron would be in TF5. Its clear there is a lot going on concerning time travel, so bringing in a world destroying threat only to reverse time could be a way of including him without wasting him on one movie - alternatively they will tease him for the 2019 Transformers movie.

Which would be the end of the second main trilogy - discounting the Bumblebee spin-off as that seems separate and is probably about

You're definitely right! A lot of the people were only mad because they wanted to see more of a movie that they were gonna go see regardless.  
Man, I kinda miss those days. The long wait was an emotional roller coaster. Looks like the wait for the first real TLK trailer will be one, too.

 

I hope waiting for a trailer won't be the same this time around.......or else    will happen if i don't see a trailer before the end of the year.

I'm going to assume you've never even seen a WWII flak cannon, then - they were designed to be extremely mobile to be re-positioned quickly as the front lines changed. The cannons aren't there because they've obviously been moved, with the soldiers in-shot giving the impression of an advancing force, so whoever those bunkers belonged to has retreated and taken their valuable AA with them.

Like, here's a classic 8.8mm German AA flak cannon folded up and in transit - note the wheels.

Sometimes I think people already forgot WWII is in this movie...

Never doubt the limit of human stupidity. After all, the majority of warning labels for what should be blatantly obvious as things to never do with dangerous equipment to the point it seems like a waste of time to put them on there...are actually because somebody did something stupid because the warning label didn't specify not to do it.

In the middle of WWII?

The ancient Cybertronians couldn't build shit. That's why The Fallen had humans basically assemble the Solar Harvester, the old Primes made a corpse tomb from their own bodies because reasons, and this millions of years old war led to Sentinel and Megatron agreeing to a secret truce all in the name of making a lesser species clean up their mess instead of the easier thing which was agree to a truce and rebuild their own planet, where the only difference is a lot less robots die at each other's hands and Cybertron isn't risked getting destroyed in a wormhole getting it to another part of the universe all because a much more fragile and technologically inferior species somehow would be better than nigh-indestructible-to-themselves robots who actually live on said planet.

 

Kinda expected this "Trailer" to be something like this, got more footage than I thought but! (Looks Amazing)

Fallen didnt had Humans build the harvester, the Harvester was made before they encountered the humans on earth, humans only built the pyraminds around the pillars.

 

Gotta give Bay credit where it's due with him as a cinematographer.
