Just found out pokemon sun and moon are delayed til the 23rd in Europe. D:

Sun and Moon will not have a National Dex, Pokebank will have one once it gets updated for compatibility until January. Apparently this has 90 percent of the fan-base raging.

Triple, Rotation and Horde Battles have been removed, most likely due to lagging issues. This too has the fan base raging.

Low amount of characters at the battle tree, low speed stats, low highest level battles in the end (max is 63) and not a longer post-game, no new megas, few new pokemon again have fans raging.

Apparantly its these things that make it a lackluster game...also 90 percent of these people have yet to even play it.

Keep in mind, these take outs are for most likely due for heightening performance issues and to avoid crashing. This is just another huge step in game development they've taking like XY, so the normal formula has to keep changing until they completely know how to make it work with pass-gen compatibility. No new megas, yet we have ultra beasts, z-moves and alola forms, 3 things that they wanted to make unique and the focus of gen 7. Also most likely the low speed stats is to hinder op competitive battling, we have seen this with their new stricter online rules.

With the increase and surge of fans from Pokemon Go, young, new and old but less experienced to the games, gamefreak has it made it their goal for easier learning streaks and fair game for competitive battling, not like the terror it was online in ORAS.

However to many, it seems to just be nerfing the game, remember we are 800 pokemon now and due to it, makes it a lot harder for new fans to immerse into, due to being offputted by the large amount of data.

 

Honestly, none of those things are serious enough problems to for people to whine. I don't get why everyone's so upset there's no National Dex in the base game; there's still Island Scans for non-Alolan Pokémon anyways.

I'm a bit disappointed that Tirtouga is only exlusive to Sun when I plan to play with moon. Hopefully international trading still works.

73, there's only about 13 unofficially released pokemon left to be made public, with 2 more ultra beasts and 1 1/2 lines for Alola Forms


81 if you include Ultra Beasts, and 98 if you include Alola Forms

I was actually considering to have it as my Water-type team member for Pokemon Moon myself. And now because of this, I might go with either Gyarados or Wishiwashi or if possible, Milotic.

 

Too many good water types in this game no point in picking popplio

 

The whole Alolan Form thing seems so half assed now because they literally did it to 18 pokemon, all from Gen I.

They might as well have made 18 further news from scratch.

 

Watching videos of people with the game already. Just watching the scene where they choose their Starters. It feels like this Simpsons clip. Rowlet and Litten being the Chocolate cakes, and Popplio being the pink cakes.
