I'd like to do a toy concept for the female autobots in "The Search For Alpha Trion" who never got proper toys that weren't exclusives.

Not directly TFA branded, unless it's a celebratory reason. But the closest aesthetic is RID, and they have worked in nods over there. Like Drift's samurai armor is a nod to Prowl's and movie Drift rolled into one. They have done other nods from TFA though too. Bulkhead himself is a TFA homage in Prime. Same as Lugnut making his way into the RTS line was. So an Omega Supreme that nods the TFA one wouldn't be a far stretch. Even Lockdown himself made it to AOE, and he was TFA too. So I could see them doing an RID Omega Supreme that shares a similar design as his TFA counterpart if the show presented a reason to later. Potentially with marketing it under RID, they could also make reference to his TFA appearance with a exclusive inclusion like how Primus included a Unicron head that was from the original Marvel comics. That supreme class optimus prime in animated should have been Omega Supreme, but between show spoilers and how retailers were adamant about the name recognition characters, hasbro was stuck with us getting that instead. It does have repaint potential though like I mentioned. Which is usually a cornerstone component of larger too. When it comes to the toys, anything is fair game that they have the rights to. Expecting TFA to come back as a full toy line though with no media behind it, that's not happening. The toys though can find other releases and retools easily as we saw with takara making Black Arachnia from TFA Black Arachnia. So it is possible to see characters from TFA redone in the line in various ways. That's kind of the cornerstone of what transformers has always done anyway. So like I said, it's a matter of when and where. Eventually they'll cover every figure and character they can over time, because they are always looking for new material that'll sell to kids and collectors alike. The fact omega Supreme hasn't been done yet outside of his platinum release that was a retool, and that iteration of the character never having gotten a figure along with the repaint potential and Hascon exclusives potential, should put him pretty high on the list. Too many fans would outright buy a large version of the G1 Ark ship if it transformed. Whereas yeah, a lugnut and ultramagnus color scheme one is something more for a convention exclusive.

Now if you mean fully new TFA characters, of course not. Nor should we expect the cancelled molds we saw prototypes of. But some key major plot element character are possible. Upgraded Sari and Omega Supreme I expect are ones that will find an outlet eventually. The TFA constructicons and other cameos though, not likely to at all. Too obscure without a dedicated line to back them up. There'd be no reason to do that, nor does their design aesthetic fit anything else. The TFA Constructicons in particular are too comedic for even RID to cover. The hard hat design element is a little too far outside the RID norm. But Omega Supreme and Upgraded Sari are still within the RID or generations or other sub lines range. Like how Windblade was repainted for release as part of a Titans Return exclusive set.

But that kind of thing is definitely not what 'Spark' is for. It's for new ideas and properties or board games. So a TF board game or GI Joe one would fall in line with that.

The two transformers related ideas I would want to post don't feel like they fit the criteria of what they are really after I'll post them here for you guys to enjoy:

    1) Sell model kits using deluxe toys. Take existing toys and sell the plastic trees in a box with instructions and a set of stickers. Sell the same toy with a dozen different color plastics. Sell some painted, let customizers submit designs and sell the winning designs. It costs less to produce and you get to crank out dups like never before. But on the collector side every time I have built a Transformer kit I have played more with that toy that any toy that year and I have enjoyed them more than any.

    2) Approach HeartShabedGames to license Transformers to create a Transformers themed version of Highgrounds. Transformers would be a perfect fit for this game as it is a two sided game where you build a deck were every character has two modes and it would *gasp* be fun to play. This.

Every time a company does this, I think of slavery.

There's no incentive (financial) and relying on people's goodwill seems a little predatory.

I think a suggestion box would be more appropriate (but as others have mentioned, it might as well feed the Hasbro HQ furnace).
I'm sure there's a huge EULA before submitting ideas that basically excuses Hasbro from any and all intellectual theft - which is what this is, essentially. (If you want to invent something and distribute it via Hasbro, you should really be working out an appropriate contract, not "submitting your idea".)

Oh I've been paying close attention alright, and that's suppose to redeem them? explain why they're forcing a bumblebee movie down our throats and not a Soundwave or barricade movie, also explain why they're slacking off and using IDW to promote their garbage toys (minus trypticon) and not console games, they were once on point with the complex toys and WFC games but dropped the ball with both leaving us with an underrated designer (I'm looking at YOU john) and bunch of stupid mobile games that is a complete waste of time and phone battery. so forgive me if my expectations are too hard for these jackasses to live up to.

Here's an actual idea: how about a Revolution toyline?

There's plenty of characters in that story arc that don't have enough potential for a toyline of their own (see: ROM, Micronauts). Putting them in a Revolution toyline could do exactly what the comic is doing, crossing them over and then releasing hem into their own toylines after the fact.

I personally view the brand as going in the right direction. RID is a very good series, with fun characters and breaks from the same old storyline. Rescue Bots is one of the best TF series for similar reasons, it's fun and shows you don't need to have a war to tell great TF stories. Even a decepticon made an appearance which was awesome.

I'm glad Hasbro is going away from the overly complex toys. I grew up with. Toys that had only a few steps and I'm still here today enjoying them. if Hasbro is moving away from complex figures, it's not to piss off the fans, it's because they trying to get kids toys they want.

I agree we need stronger video games. Devastation was going in a good direction, but the levels were so repetitive that I haven't been motivated to go back to play it any more.

I have a REALLY cool idea, but the website says it wants super-detailed descriptions and CAD renders. In other words, it wants a fully-realized concept. Not a one paragraph descriptor. And I'm no good at CAD and such. :(

Care to explain your reasoning behind this? They're Transformers shows. What part of that doesn't count?

Wonder if Hasbro is looking to start up a new IP from this? Or more likely they just want a new toy gimmick to throw all their properties onto.
Maybe the multiverse launch is stressing them out.

C'mon, animal decepticons being chased and hunted down by a bunch of minor autobots with a bunch of humiliated cameos like soundwave!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? (Let it soak in for a moment) That's the worst portrayal of decepticon's I've ever seen, however this isn't the first time such a major faction got screwed over like this. Take a look at IDW, bayformers and RID (2002)

Uh? Did you pay attention to any of the G1 fiction? They embarrass themselves

They're the same old dim witted Saturday morning villains in everything you didn't list (Movie cons are at least uber threatening in the first movie and sort of the second)
