I know you said before it is doubtful you would release the toon accurate faces for the main headmaster cast, is that still the case? would be way cheaper to buy say, a 4 pack of faces of the autobots and enjoy painting them myself, than it would be to buy all the japanese import versions.

While I might not do toon versions for all of them, I think it might be reasonable to make alts for some of them. Say, a toy version for Chromedome.

I just want to ask have there been an IDW Blurr one already? The CHUG Blurr is too expensive to do a headswap now, and the TR mold is just too good.

Awesome. really hoping for a faceplate-less brainstorm. your idw hardhead is pretty close to the toon anyway and highbrow is already good as-is.

 

I was going through your list of faces and have an extra Brainstorm for a custom... initially I was thinking Pharma... but is there any chance of an idw style Metal Hawk faceplate?

I just got the Exhaust/Marlboor face today (in BHDA). I love it! It fits perfectly and snugly onto a Titanmaster.
As a bonus, it looks like the little guy is wearing some kind of flight pack!

Sadly, this face can't be used with Combiner Wars Wheeljack because the head's big ol' wings inhibit closing the front of the car completely. I tried without the Titanmaster's legs attached too, still no luck. Ah well.

It's OK though. I haven't decided what to do with this guy yet, but I'll think of something!

 

I finally got the Stalker kit on the way. When I figure out how to best go about painting Hardhead, I'm thinking of doing it based on the deco of the Universe Soundwave version the Stalker mold. I don't know why, I like that deco for some reason. I'll probably dial back the amount of yellow though.

BTW, with Sixshot expected out in a month or so I'd love to see a face/helmet based on Shadowmaru, the remolded Sixshot from the Brave series J-Decker. Especially since Takara isn't likely to do a new Shadowmaru from the TR mold since they no longer have the rights to the Brave series and characters.
