The best soil is near the Volcano and most people really don't think about it. Many want to get away from the rat race of the cities and having a place in middle no where is draw. It is as the realtor said in the show she saying that is a positive and big negative was a myth of giant Robots as your neighbors.

Volcanoes make the soil very fertile and it is probably one of the main reasons why the Pacific Northwest is an agricultural region. In terms of cities at the foot of volcanoes, several of the major cities in the Pacific Northwest are at the foot of a few volcanoes, these include Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland. The citizens of the cities are aware of the activity levels of the volcanoes from time to time but they go on about their business.

I watched the episode and I have to say I liked the episode much more than I did the previous episode.

Okay so onto the story part, I see once again is the typical Strongarm worrying about something. I wished they would stop using this storyline with her but at least I will give the writers points for putting a different twist on it by having her try to repair her ego in a way rather than she felt she screwed up. The interactions between her and Fixit were nice and humorous, just how she's constantly trying to make sure Fixit is giving her good scores. I was also laughing at Denny and Russell trying to use the Control Panel was amusing with how many screw ups they accidentally caused. As for the Autobot base Strongarm explored, I didn't even notice that the mountain was named based on the name of the mountain where the Autobot Base was in G1. But despite that I did immediately think of G1 when Strongarm mentioned it being the first Autobot base.

Going into a bit of headcanon territory here but I noticed how some people are wondering how Bumblebee knew of the first base. Well we know that the Aligned Continuity still exists... sort of with Rescuebots acknowledging it takes place in the same universe as Prime/RiD. Well let's think back to the ending of Fall of Cybertron where the Ark and Nemesis were sucked into the Spacebridge. Perhaps much like G1 the Ark crashed on Earth and the Autobots used that as there first base. I don't know if the writer's were aiming for that reference but it does fit in nicely and explains Bumblebee's knowledge about it.

Anyways back to the review. Okay so my impressions on Scatterspike were shock when I saw she was a femme which was unexpected since she's a recolor of a mech. But I do like her ability that while she shoots quills like Quillfire, each quill causes a different side-effect that not even she's aware of. Could make for interesting battles. The minicons I find interesting, the way they talk about their fear of Cybertronians, especially their fear of the one chasing who is obviously Starscream. There's also their special ability to grant strength and control Transformers that no other minicon has. Perhaps they'll explain why this is the case. As for the other Decepticons I really don't like how they're all recolors, it really makes me miss Steeljaw and his pack. I'm not even sure I'm even going to that interaction between him and Starscream I always hoped for. Just imaged what could result from those two schemers encountering each other. The action was alright but I was disappointed that Grimlock seemed less funny and more stupid in this episode.

Finally onto my thoughts on the ending when Optimus revealed he'll return to Earth. While my brother cheered for getting to see his favorite character back on the team, I grabbed the sides of my computer screen and exclaimed "Wait! What about the corrupt council?!" Yes the corrupt council that Optimus left to deal with and we've gotten no word on. Now Optimus is just returning to Earth despite making such a big deal out of it in the season 2 finale? I like this show but they better not just let them drop that plotline off in oblivion. I hope that it turns out that this is the movie's plot line but apart of me has been fearing something.

What if these supposed season three episodes we are seeing are the movie. I hope I'm wrong about this but I'm not so sure. Fall is getting close, the time Hasbro said the movie would air and there have been no news of the plot as far as I've heard.

So with that said I give this episode 8.0 I like it but I really hope these episodes aren't just going to be slapped together by Hasbro and called a movie.

    Scores so Far
    Episode 1 - 7/10
    Episode 2 - 8/10

    Season 3? Average So Far - 7.5

This series needs a Soundtrack Album release. I feel like Music on RID is underappreciated. There are some genuinely nice stuff in there. Love the music played when Strongarm came to rescue.

So far, I'm enjoying this half of the Season more than the previous.

Aerobolt is so fitting to be the Minicon partner of Optimus Prime. There's some regal aspect to him that reminded me so much of Optimus.

I thought it was an okay episode. Strongarm and Fix-It are a pair we don't see often so it was cool to get it. SA and Sideswipe's interactions were better in this one than the previous ep - there was still some teasing but they were much more respectful of each other. The new Minicons are interesting and it was a good development to have Fix-It meet one. The Mount St. Hilary nod and 'Bee calling in Optimus for help at the end was great. Animation quality was high in this one too.

Denny and Russel's subplot was dreadful. It was cringe-worthy at various points and made them too immature and irresponsible. But I did like how 'Bee didn't have the generic 'don't sweat it' reaction and actually made them face consequences for their actions.

The real estate agent's saying 'otherworldly' all the damn time was very annoying.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I didn't think this series could get worse but it is. Why are the decepticons all repaints? Why are these veteran autobots still bumbling clumsy childish idiots? Why send prime to cybertron just to come back again? Why is strong arm learning thus lesson again? This is just rescue bots with decepticons

    Time to watch S3E02

    This score thing is good.

Strongarm is driving way too fast around that curve.

Ha, and it was actually on purpose. Okay. Well done, writers.

How racist is it that I'm distracted by that interracial couple?

Oh my god. So the bad guy in this episode is a varmint obsessed southerner who wants to set off the volcano to kill all the interracial couples. Shots fired.

    Wait, that's a her? Lol.

Hey, just like what happened in TFP. It's like poetry. It rhymes.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute. A second ago, the guy was begging not to be arrested and taken to Cybertron. Now he's saying he just wants to get back to "leave Earth". Uh, then shouldn't he have happily let Fixit cuff him? That's his ticket off Earth. Then on Cybertron he can make a deal with law enforcement to give up her and the rest of the mystery decepticons for immunity or a heavily reduced sentence (how bad can aiding and abetting be, especially if he was coerced? you can't punish a hostage, can you?)

Oh my god, that bird is jigsaw.

PASERQuAT is a horrible acronym, but Transformer elo could stick around.
