This was the only match I caught from the show because it was the only one I actually cared about. I thought they might finally let Sasha be a credible champ. Instead its pissed away to do more circlejerking over the flair name.

I cant even go back and watch the rest, I'm so disgusted by that ending.

 

Best match on the card but sasha's wardrobe malfuction if u can call it that was a little distracting.

 

And now we have to suffer through Charlotte's bragging again.

I swear she has the biggest ego this side of Tom Brady.

 

I said it before as a joke, Cena's gonna break Flairs record, but Charlotte's gonna break Cena's.

 

I was ready to turn off the tv and watch the cubs lose the world series when the sasha work started. I DESPISE injury angles (and wow, this PPV had one in nearly every match! yay! thanks vince, primo storytelling) and think they should just be done with that shit. Nobody wants to see 2 athletes have to put on an act like they can't perform, especially in this day in age when so many career ending injuries really do happen in-ring. It's depressing, sad, and it deflates the match to such a low that even if it is a work, the momentum from it being a straight match from the start is thrown out the window. What had the potential to be one of the best HIAC matches in history got flushed down the toilet from Vince not being able to tell a proper story and shitting out another deflating injury angle. Well done, charlotte wins, who cares.

Rusev continues to be my favorite performer on the RAW brand. Dude is just giving stellar performances despite having to job to Vince's golden boy. He is carrying Roman in these sets, Rusev's talent and performances just outshine every one punch gimmick Roman has in his book. Rusev puts on the show and gets the crowd going with everything he does. When there is a VOCAL LET'S GO RUSEV / and minor RUSEV SUCKS coming from the crowd, you know something is wrong with how they are booking these two. Roman has been the heel in this set since it started and the crowd can't wait til their hero Rusev reclaims the belt   Rusev is looking like a wrestler from the past 20 years now too, having slimmed down and still gained some muscle. Dude just looks like he is in the peak of his career and I hope he does get another push soon. Too good of talent to be wasted on fruitloops 2.0.

Owens v Rollins was the last match I remember enjoying and pretty much just because Jericho's heel gimmick is white hot right now. He played the role perfectly in ring and the time for him to turn on Owens is setup for any week now. I love, love, love what they've done with Jericho and his involvement in that match last night made it special. I really do hope he gets a title opportunity soon because seeing him v owens is going to be a fantastic payoff.




Unless wwe/raw brand somehow fucks that up too.

Whoot 15 minute Raw tonight! They should keep it this short every week! 3 great promos from Heyman, GB, and Rusev, and then a great stand off, a good spear on Heyman then the show ended. Fantastic for a Monday Night Raw!

honestly, just do what knighthawkke did and watch the 15 minute opener. that's the best advice I can give you as someone who saw the whole thing.





though if you really want a good LOL at how vince is running his monday night flagship show, highly recommend watching the survivor series spot mini-rumble and nia jax v bailey  

don't get me wrong, both matches will make you sick to your stomach and have you wanting to turn off your tv or monitor, but they are prime examples of why Smackdown is the A show.
couldn't we just get big show dressing like a mountain man, and then big show dressing in drag and competing in the womens division? that's pretty much what is going on anyway and it would be 100% more entertaining than watching either strowman or nia jax.

 

After that I got to see a full train wreck of a Monday night football game. It's like only one team even showed up to play there.  

 

My summary of Monday Night RAW:

There's 3 hours of my life I'm not getting back...........

That was easily the worst Monday Night RAW I've seen in years.......

 

I got Raw recorded and have to watch it. I guess I'll only watch the opening promo and watch SDL tonight. Thanks for the heads up.

 

I know there isn't a lot of whatculture wrestling talk here, but the gall of Simon Miller to give that Raw double the ups than downs. That man is the living, breathing embodiment of the word shill.
